“We had a very nice time at this location. Our Son was Graduating from App State and he lived off campus. We were minutes from his house and 15 minutes from App State. If you're looking to visit an App State Student, this is the place to stay. You get the mountain feeling and your just outside Boone. Another bonus is you are right next to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We took the Parkway up to Blowing rock and it was a beautiful ride. This place is perfect for a weekend away. ”

“The location of the cottage was just breathtaking. The back porch made a really great spot to sit in the mornings and listen to birds and look at nature. Butterball was a wonderful addition as well. I know you’ll see a lot of reviews about him here, but you just never really know how he is until you get the chance to meet him in person! I would definitely recommend this stay to others, and I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.”

“Very clean with all the necessities. Wonderful view off the patio. Comfy bed. Found a place nearby for pet relief though the surrounding area is steep. TV was a bit difficult to figure out (and not real big) but we managed. Road to cabin is narrow but perfectly situated between Boone and Blowing Rock.”

“We have stayed in many VRBOs and this is one of our favorites! It is so cute, with a fabulous view, comfortable beds and linens. It is cozy and well appointed and beautifully decorated. central to Boone and Banner Elk. The hosts have thought of everything. This is a great spot!”
