“This was absolutely the best vacation rental we have stayed at. The hosts were so wonderful. Communication was super. Best towels!! We so enjoyed our stay. We appreciate the rental for allowing our dog to stay with us as well. When come back to the hills this is our only choice to stay. Highly recommend this rental.”

Saw 1 mountain goat and baby by Cathedral Spires. Needles Highway and Mt. Rushmore. Day 2 Took back roads……

“This place was squeaky clean and nicely appointed with local flair. So cozy with throw blankets and extra blanket in the bedroom. Nice little seating area out back. The road was a little close for comfort but never kept me from sleeping. The location is very convenient for seeing the sights. There’s a nice Main Street downtown with some great restaurants. We had a great stay and would book again!”

“My family loved staying at the historic Barney Home. The location is great for visiting Rapid City, the Black Hills and the Badlands. The listing is accurate and the home was clean and well maintained. Water pressure was good, beds are firm, the off street parking is excellent and we loved having the backyard and fenced patio to enjoy at the end of a busy day. The house is spacious and we liked that the bedrooms are spread out enough we didn't feel crowded. Communicating with Cody was very easy……

“This was such a nice place. We really felt at home. All the amenities that you wanted. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had everything you needed. “The home was extremely clean. The property is private yet relatively close to attractions like Mt. Rushmore and Custer State Park. We enjoyed our stay at the home and the kids loved seeing deer and turkey at the outside feeder each morning. If we visit South Dakota again, we would certainly book this property again.”

“This was a wonderful cabin in a great location. Traffic on our road was minimal, and the stream beside the place was lovely. After being out and about all day every day, it was really nice to come back to the cabin, fix some dinner, and sit outside by the fire pit until well after dark.
