“Nice place and location but parking situation was very difficult or costly.”

“Staying at the Caribou Lodge in Banff was truly a wonderful experience. The accommodations were lovely and the location ideal. There is a very nice restaurant and bar in the hotel but there are also many options just a walk away. We were also provided with a pass to ride the public Roam transportation to various attractions and up and down the main street. This was extremely helpful as the parking and traffic in the Banff area is very challenging and parking limited. I would highly……

“Location is perfect. Condo is updated. Staff pleasant and helpful. Negatives are the bedrooms are very small with no closet or dresser. Also, the delivery trucks for the grocery are right below the rooms and the trash / recycle truck comes nearly every morning by 8 for multiple loads. The hot tubs were broken the entire time we were there, so that was disappointing. The closest free parking is about a 7 minute walk.”

“The only problem is that it was hard to find the office; they should have let us know that we had to go to the office. We were looking for the condo for half an hour”

“Accommodations were great and staff were prompt in providing additional blankets. Nice and close to Banff.Only minor gripe was the underground parking was full when we arrived and I had to park several streets over (which took time to find a spot). Not ideal after a flight to Calgary and a drive to Banff.”

“Very nice accommodations! The hotel restaurant was excellent, we wound up eating 75% of our meals there sitting outside with the unbelievable view of the mountains, too. Even though Hotel Canoe is the furthest Uptown, the walk to Downtown is super easy, and the transit shuttle picks up right across the street if you don't wish to walk. We will definitely stay there again...just make sure to upgrade your RSVP to a room with unobstructed views of the mountains. AAA”
