"The home was very nice. Upstairs ensuite bedrooms were lovely. Great if you travel with a dog. A small area where a dog, with good recall, can run and gates on the deck so dogs are contained while relaxing or reading. Million dollar view from the deck! As others have said, road up to home is pretty awful. So, while we loved the house,"

"Location was wonderful. Getting through the entrance gate was problematic. We needed help from the onsite manager who was very friendly and helpful. There was too much dust and cobwebs to give it a 5 star for cleanliness. The kitchen lacked some things we considered common and essential like salt and pepper. Paper products supplied were barely adequate."

"The Barred Owl is a beautiful and extremely clean home with plenty of kitchen-ware, towels, etc. Located at the top of a hill, it is super private on a lovely property. The hot tub was clean and soothing, as well as there is a nice grassy area to build a fire and enjoy the weather or roast smores. I highly recommend and would go back!"
