“Owner/VRBO host lives on the property with 2 dogs. We were awakened by a dog barking directly outside our bedroom. We had a very strange experience when the owner knocked on our door saying that the younger dog wanted to "meet us". The owner referred to the younger dog as a puppy. It was tall enough to sniff my crotch, which is not my idea of a puppy. The grounds are in need of attention. “Knocked our socks off. Beautiful place, with animals in a green space and riverside hangouts on the Applegate. Lodgings next to the road, but that’s quiet at night and the river side is where you hang out. The host has built something special, and she’s on it all the time. She’s also more than tidy, so less is more, which some of us love. Don’t miss the tiny towns on the west, Applegate, Provolt, and Williams. They’re tiny but friendly.”

“Clean and beautiful grounds”

“The house was as clean as it could be. It definitely needs some work, the shower looks moldy in the seams. It’s an old country house. I felt comfortable using the kitchen, it was clean. It was a peaceful and quiet area. The biggest issues for me were the bugs, and the smell. There were earwigs all over inside the house. My husband rinsed probably 5 of them down the drain in the shower. There would be multiple of them crawling around the carpet in the bedroom or crawling on the drapes. They……
