「The bathroom was a disgrace. Grubby, poorly maintained, flooring and panels were heavily water damaged. A small leak from wash basin. Decor was grubby. The main bedroom was more like being in a hostel. Expedia should not be including this facility!」

「I stayed overnight on Wednesday 3 June. On the Thursday morning I got up to find there was no hot water in my room. I had to wash and shave using cold water. Most unsatisfactory. I went to reception and the staff there was most unhelpful. I asked to make a formal complaint and asked the manager to contact me by phone or email. No follow up has been forthcoming. I feel robbed as I paid quite a high price for the room and in my opinion have not been given the customer service anyone would...

「A good overnight stop on our journey to the south coast! Very friendly staff in the bar welcomed us, and were extremely helpful. Nicely decorated and spacious rooms. A good choice of decent meals on the bar menu available in the pub, so convenient not having to dine elsewhere. Excellent value, and both the evening and morning staff were great. Yes, a bit of road noise, and extractor noise heard in our 2 rooms, but we are used to silent nights living in a rural location!」
