"We spent a week with our “adult” children ranging from 17-29. We had a fabulous time! The house is in a secluded location with a steep steep road and driveway, which also led to its charm. The house is well appointed with anything you could think of needing! Including the most perfect reading and napping spot on the lower deck with the hammock! This was a coveted spot! There is a resident eagle we saw fishing and a family of otters right next door to the dock. We would love to come back and spend another week of disconnecting from the world and connecting with each other! The owners called and checked on us and made for a seamless entrance and exit!"

"Amazing place! Great location to relax by the beautiful river! It was just what we needed while visiting WCU for college moving day ! It’s our 2nd stay and we could 100% stay here again . Very close to restaurants in Sylva, and Franklin. CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Ingles Markets and more places available for you nearby. The host was very accommodating and responded to communication very quickly. Thanks!"

"Our family enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing summer vacation here and it was such a beautiful setting. The view of the water and mountains and sunsets was truly rejuvenating. And the concerns over internet speeds was a blessing for our two "screenagers" and created less distractions and more puzzles, card games and conversations that we will cherish."

"If you are looking for a get away this property is the perfect option. The home is situated at the top of the road which makes it feel private and peaceful, surrounded by trees. The grounds are very well maintained. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious the house feels. Definitely sleeps eight comfortably. The furnishing indoors/outdood are new and clean (made very happy). The bedrooms and kitchen are spacious. Close to many touristic towns with great restuarants and shopping. Host provided us with a list of places to explore. Plenty to do around the area if you like fishing, waterfalls, hiking you won't be disappointed. Overall it was a fantastice time with the family. Thank you for provide such a cool space."
