"This hotel doesn't seem to have the same standards as other homewood suites. Crumbs on the pull out when we arrived No shampoo. 2 bath towels and a small towel for 5 people The shower head fixture wasn't properly fixed to the wall. Took 6 hours to get more towels. Then shortly after, staff knocked on the door at 9pm with towels for the room down the hall. I imagine 2 is fine for standard rooms but suites that sleep 6 probably need more than that. Shampoo was empty Kitchen supplies did not include enough place settings The pot holder was crunchy and stained. Towels were rarely available at the pool- they only filled a handful at a time The pool was ice cold until it started pumping warm water for the weekend Mold in the mens room near the pool Staff dressed ultra casual- including obscene gestures. Check in was smooth and staff were friendly. Breakfast was fine. "

"Pool was clean salt water great temperature and open late until 10pm. No hot tub. Room was very clean and equipped as described. Beds and pillows are lower quality but it did the job for a one night stay. We booked based on low price, pool and located right close to our plans of a great dinner and shopping. Overall it was good and as expected for a budget stay "

"We arrived late on a very cold windy night and the young man at the front desk couldn’t have been nicer or more attentive. When I asked if there were tea bags in the room he said there were but that he could make me a cup as well. I so appreciated his overall thoughtfulness that one doesn’t see much any more, and of course the great cup of tea!"

"The rooms were very clean. Staffs were very helpful. A very pleasant stay. Bottom line, i would stay there again."

"Building is massive but once adjusted it was great. Amazing rooms, staff was amazing at front desk, only downside was that the pool was freezing. "

"We actually left for our second night and got another hotel. We went to talk to staff and no one was at the desk...but the traffic noise was way too much. When we couldnt find a staff member at 4pm on a saturday we just left and went to another hotel. "

"The actual room I had at this location was nowhere near what the photos made it out to look like. My stay at this location started out rocky when I checked in and found out that the room I had just moved my luggage into hadn't been cleaned yet after the previous visitor. The cleaning staff member who came to tidy up was irritated that I was in the unit before it was cleaned, then I had to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes until she was done. The room and the building are somewhat rundown, but if you need a quick place to stay for a night or two, it would work. Besides the one cleaning staff member I interacted with, the rest of the employees were courteous/nice, and the location is close to all kinds of restaurants and a mall."

"We stayed at this property for two nights, while on a little staycation with our three little kids. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, with kitchen, and it was perfect size, clean and well laid out (one room on either side of a living room/kitchen. Hotel was close to lots of restaurants, and only a 12min drive to the children’s museum / the Factory. I called the hotel in advance and they put our requested two cribs in the room for our arrival. The breakfast area downstairs does not have highchairs - just an FYI. The only downside of this hotel was the pool- which was a must for our kids. It looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in many many months. It had floating debris on top not being picked up by the filter (likely because the filter hadn’t been checked…) there was so much debris sunk to the bottom by the stairs it actually looked a different colour and was disgusting. We did ask them to skim the top, but I’m not sure the staff knew why I was asking. If you’re not planning on using the pool, the hotel was great, in an excellent safe location and very friendly staff. "
