great stay

Stayed 10 days here and it was as advertised, everything you need to enjoy a beach vacation. MKV is located on what I consider the best beach snorkeling spot we've been to. Would recommend to family and friends.

Maui Kaanapali Villas—return visit!

Our family has stayed at this resort several times since 2010–and we are never disappointed! The people are kind and helpful, the facilities (pools, hot tubs, and free morning coffee) are terrific, and the location on the beach is really perfect.

Excellent place to stay

Very nice unit, well furnished with a very good taste. Kitchen has all necessary items. Excellent location, with fantastic facility. I would say, it is one of the best place to stay in Maui.

Great home away from home.

Lahaina was an amazing experience. It was our first time in Maui as a family, which was the most relaxing property we've come to see. Walking distance to the beach, friendly locals and good eats all around. Definitely worth a trip back. Great for honeymoons and family vacations!

Great Spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this condo. The unit is beautiful, and the villas are nicely located right off of the beach. The location ten minutes north of Lahaina is one of the lushest, most-beautiful parts of the island, and provides convenient access to many other parts of Maui. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful room!

Excellent location on Kaanapali Beach! This room is spacious, clean and comfortable. The Villas are a safe and beautiful place to stay. This unit has a fully equipped kitchen and the room has a great decor. Loved it!

Very nicely appointed unit. The grounds are very beautiful and relaxing. Nicer appeal over the high rise type of property. Golden sands beach just steps away. Pools clean and a great place to spend time when not out and about.

Loved it!!!!

We had a wonderful time! Just a few steps from the beautiful beach. The condo had everything you could possibly need. It even had beach chairs, an umbrella, and boogie boards. We had bought a few sand toys and the neighbors gave us a tube which we left to add to collection of beach necessities. This is a great location and has everything within walking distance. Definitely will be staying here again next year!

A great little extended weekend away

Smooth transaction from beginning to end. High value for a low price. A few small issues with internal quality of unit, but not a big deal (mattress could be upgraded, some minor cosmetic issues with age of unit for examples). Otherwise, we would stay again at this unit.

Awesome Place To Stay. . . .

If you're coming to Maui and looking for a place in the North West Resort side of the island, you cannot go wrong with Troy & Susan's place. They've done a fantastic job at putting it together to make you feel like you're in your quaint little Hawaiian home. You'll be equally happy with the grounds, the beach the cafe, the closeness of beach access, okay. . . you'll be thrilled with everything. Plus it's super close to Lahaina for shopping and eating. Also. . . . Troy & Susan were very good about communication. Replied very quickly to every email/question. You won't go wrong staying here.

Comfy Villa close to beach , great views of sunset

Villa had everything you require for a stay, right down to the beach umbrellas, and esky. Just like being in your own home.Clean and well maintained. Gardens /pool at resort well looked after and maintained. Good to see recycle bins in the resort.Sunset views from the villa(no building opposite)Good size unit for 3 people or less.Short walk to beach. Boardwalk was great for early morning run/walks. Would recommend you hire a car if staying here,gets you to lots of interesting places quicker and where buses do not go. Highlights helicopter flight to Molokai, trip to Hana (booked thru resort office), swimming with turtles, snorkelling ,exploring the area ie getting on a bus and then walking round headlands when you get off,walking into Whalers Village on the boardwalk then getting bus into Lahani to explore eateries and shops. Service from owners was faultless and prompt could not fault at all. Any questions they would send a reply promptly. Definately recomend to friends and would be happy to return again if we hired a car. (we were a bit unsure of driving on the wrong side of road)All in all great stay at a great villa in a perfect position in the resort. Close to pool and located away from the main area, so it was lovely and quiet. thank you Susan

GREAT LOCATION

My family (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed here for 3 nights and were very happy with the accommodations. The condo was well-stocked: many kitchen items, beach towels, beach umbrellas, just to name a few. Was happy with the distance to the beach - was great to just walk there on a whim because it was so close. The beach was never packed which was great for us. We really felt like we had the beach to ourselves which we enjoyed. Check-in and check-out process was easy - had no issues with the staff or amenities. Everything worked out well. Just keep in mind that you do have a check-in fee and daily resort fees which are are not included in the quoted price of the condo. For 3 nights, the extra fees came out to less than $100, but if you are counting your pennies, that could be an unpleasant surprise. The lanai also faces the street. Even though there is a decent hedge between the lanai and the street, we didn't feel comfortable having our boys out there playing. You do get some street noise but I didn't find it too annoying to not want to go back. But something to think about if you have children or are bothered by street noise. The owners are helpful with information and are quick to respond to emails. Will definitely have this place filed under "Favorites" for our next vacation in Maui. Fabulous vacation

Studio was just as described and was right next to the hidden pool that we had to ourselves almost every day! Property is located close to Many good restaurants and walking distance to whalers village!

Good location

Great property, quiet, really nice landscaping. It was too quiet for our son, though, who was looking for a livelier pool scene. But for a couple or a family with small children it is very relaxing. The only other issue is that the room safe quit working and maintenance had to drill it out to get our valuables. Nice that they have a trolley that makes regular runs to Whalers Village and other places.

As always, MKV is an amazing place to stay, and overall did not disappoint. Better communication is needed if maintenance is be done near the unit.

Above and Beyond

Unfortunately we were here the week of the fires. I just have to say that Susan went above and beyond when our stuff had to be left behind at the condo as we had to come home early. I can’t say enough positive things! Myself and my family are so thankful! The time we did have here, we enjoyed the location and short walk to the beach. The property was easy to navigate. The room was clean with all the amenities you would need and more! I hope someday soon you are able to enjoy this place as we did.

Amazing place

Beautiful

This villa has an amazing ground floor location that has a small view of the ocean and part of Lanai! The unit was extremely clean and comfortable for my family. We were able to use the many beach chairs and body boards left in the closet. We will definitely be back to enjoy this unit again. Thank you!
