Very spacious and well kept condo

Condo was very spacious, modern, and well kept. View from condo was great with ocean views as advertised. Great whale watching from the lanai! Kitchen was great and easy to cook meals. Beds were a bit hard and uncomfortable. Overall facility was pretty good but could use some updating, particularly the pool and common spaces. Kids loved the sports area that included basketball hoop and pickle ball. Beach was good, but better beach options to the north and south with an easy commute.

Maui Trip Kahana

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Vacation Rental was excellent. Traveled with my husband, and two kids, 12 and 17 and a friend tagged along. The unit was aweseome and the views were better than the pictures show. The Sea Turtles out front was the highlight of the trip. In addition, the amentites the condo offered were a bonus, the pool and jacuzzi, pickleball, on site Restaurant, and gym, etc.

Sands of Kahana vacation

Reviewer Comments: This was are 4th time staying at sands of kahana the third time renting thru Sullivan.We always enjoy are stay there there’s pretty much all you need there within walking distance. Don’t think I will come at spring break time again to many little kids not following the rules at the pool l will blame the parents for that.Overall it’s a good place to stay and I plan on staying there many more times probably every year till I can’t do it anymore. I will use Sullivan properties there local there office is within is a block away good people Aloha.

Wonderful all around

We enjoyed this condo very much. It has all the amenities we needed. Very spacious and up to date throughout. The view from this unit was amazing. We enjoyed it so much we didn't want to leave. The whole process from beginning to end was wonderful. Thank you so much. We will be telling our friends and family about this unit. When I come back to Maui I will definitely look for this unit to stay. Mahalo

Beautiful oceanfront condo

My family really enjoyed staying at this condo! It has a beautiful view of the ocean, beach, pool, and on-site restaurant. It is very spacious- it's among the largest condos we've stayed in. The condo is in very good condition and tastefully decorated. Honestly, the online pictures don't do it justice as the place feels even better and larger in person. Although there is a window A/C unit in the living room, we didn't use it because we preferred to use the ceiling fans and ejoyed the fresh breeze and sounds of the ocean. There are two sliding glass doors that also include sliding screen doors that lead to the lanai from the living room and the master bedroom, so this was a great way to enjoy the ocean breeze without the bugs. Our kids did use the second A/C unit in the second bedroom and their room stayed nice and cool. We very much appreciated the beach towels that were provided as that saved on what we needed to pack. We rented snorkel gear on-site and got suggestions from the gear rep for great nearby beaches to snorkel at. You can snorkel directly in front of the condo, but since the gear rep said there isn't coral or much sea life besides turtles to see there, we opted for short drives to other great snorkel spots! We would gladly stay here again!

Beautiful Oceanfront Condo with Amazing Views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time renting from the Sullivan Properties team. That said, we were nothing but impressed with the entire experience! The Sands of Kahana 255 was an amazing unit. Very spacious and clean. The condo was very modern inside and had all the amenities a family on vacation could use. The condo is configured in a manner where our kids had their space, that was separate from ours—which was great. The views from the condo were amazing and could be viewed from all angles on the ocean side of the condo; with two large sliding glass doors and two sliding windows which allowed for the cool breeze in at night and of course, the awesome sounds of the ocean.The beach at the Sands of Kahana was great and rarely crowded. Lounge chairs were also available in the beach area. Condo-255 also had some small ice chests and floats for the water we were able to utilize. Beach towels were also provided-thank you !!!The Sands of Kahana is located very close to the other towns which made evening outings and activities fun-without having to drive long distances. Overall, I rate our stay at the Sands of Kahana 255: 5+ stars. I can’t think of anything we would have changed. I also wanted to give a special shout-out to Kim on the Sullivan team She was super-helpful!! She assisted me with the initial booking of the condo, helped with my request regarding recommending local restaurants and other activities, and immediately had someone respond for a very minor maintenance issue. Kim was always quick to respond, and I absolutely loved working with her during out stay!I would not hesitate to use the Sullivan Properties team again. They earned my respect and trust.

Great experience! Me and my family loved the property. All staff were nice and helpful. The condo offered everything you can think of! All we had to do was buy some groceries for the week and that was it! Will definitely be booking through Sullivan Properties again! Thank you !

Great stay! HUGE unit! Beautiful Kitchen!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a week in SOK255. We had relatives in 2 other units on the property, and ours was, in my opinion, the nicest. The kitchen is updated and very well stocked. The unit had snorkels/masks, boogie boards, suntan lotion (reef friendly) and aloe vera. We all took turns hosting dinner, and the units easily accommodated 12 people. Only issue we had was not quite enough dinner plates and silverware when we hosted, but we easily borrowed from one of the other units. The a/c was really helpful , the view was spectacular and we loved watching the sunsets from the deck. Have fun!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We very much enjoyed Condo #255. Large unit, 2 bed and 2 bath. Oceanfront views, saw lots of turtles from our balcony. Very well equipped except no salt and pepper, so we had to buy that. Boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkel masks and floaty were in the closet for our use. Very comfortable unit. Only complaint was when cleaning staff propped open the elevator door so no one could use the elevator. Did not see why it was necessary to prop the door open.

Great view and furniture layout.

The view was fantastic. The room was Very open with just the right amount of furniture. The one room AC was just enough to cool us when needed. We loved the tile floor as well. Our only issue was inconsistent heating via the stove top. The temperatures seemed to fluctuate quite a bit.

We will be back to this unit!

This was our first trip to Maui and we were not disappointed. Unit 255 at Sands of Kahana is freshly remodeled and updated nicely. This unit is exactly as pictured and bright and the view is honestly unbeatable. The kitchen had every utensil we needed and spices etc. It was so easy to go to the pool, grills, and beach right outside our balcony. Swimming was fantastic right in front of the unit and we could see whales and turtles every day. Miso Phat Sushi across the street is tough to get into but well worth the wait. Parking was a breeze under the building each night and we really made ourselves at home for our stay. I highly recommend this property to families looking for a perfect Maui experience. A tip I wish I would have known is to book dinner reservations in advance. Especially during spring break it is difficult to get into restaurants with reduced capacity due to COVID restrictions. (And the Beach House Bar and Grill on the property is not great and service was hit and miss) But you can make anything you want in this units fabulous kitchen. Mahalo!!

Beautiful, quiet spot on the island

The condo is beautiful and worked well for the 7 of us. It was great to sit on the balcony and watch whales at any time of day. There were a few beach items in the condo—boogie board, umbrella, cooler, and we left our sand toys behind for the next person. The unit is on the 5th floor. We love this complex, Sands of Kahana, because they have a perfect kiddie pool, 3’ deep, with a hot tub by it, so if you have young kids this is huge. Kahana is a quiet, relaxing neighborhood, away from the busier ka’anapali & Lahaina, but close enough to run into town every day. Be aware that you need to provide your own trash bags (past the first one) and laundry detergent, and there were no pantry staples like spices that you sometimes find in rentals. The kitchen was stocked well enough with cooking utensils, pans, etc.

Great location and great apartment

The property 255 is just great. Absolutely like the pictures. It is at a great local rink if you want to be around the Lahaina/Kaanapali area. It was absolutely clean and had a lot of towels and blankets. Great view from the lanai. We saw whales every day. Very well equipped kitchen. They also provided beach towels. Beach play items were not guaranteed but we did find two boogie boards and umbrella.
