Great directions, communication & smooth check-in. Beautifully renovated suite, walkable to trails & beaches. Comfortable king bed in the loft with a fan & an air conditioning unit for the main floor where the pull-out queen bed is. The kitchen is in its own space away from the living area. Note to guests: Dishes and utensil variety are sufficient for cooking meals. There isn't a large frying pan, nor cooking oil, spices, foil, wrap, etc. These will be things you need to pick up. Unfortunately, our stay aligned with the 2 major storms that hit the North Shore and we were without power for part of our stay. The loft does heat up considerably. The slider patio door is very difficult to open to create a cross breeze with the main door. Surprisingly, with conservation, warm water lasted longer than expected. The grounds are beautiful, but the pools, deck chairs and b-que areas within the pool enclosures do shut down during power outages due to the lack of filtration and in the case of this storm - flooding. The tennis/pickle ball area did remain open and one of the employees supplied charcoal and bottles of water, although, at that time we did not know there was a boil water advisory. The roof leaked during the major rain and the microwave no longer worked when the power came back on. Overall, the suite is beautiful, and storms can't be prevented. Our stay was a chain of unfortunate events that pale in comparison to what the residents of the North Shore experienced.
