“This was an amazing spot to escape the hustle and bustle of Puglia. Although it is remarkably quiet it is not far from the civilisation. However the reason for coming is to be away from it all. And this place delivers fully. The staff are great. The set up is fabulous and the food lovely. Highly recommended”

“Arrivés à 12h30 au lieu de 14h, la chambre nous a été donnée dans les 5mn! La chambre était spacieuse, ainsi que la salle de bain. La literie très confortable et la climatisation silencieuse. Petit-déjeuner très complet, les différents stands sont systématiquement ravitaillés. Un reproche sur l’éco-responsabilité : les serviettes ont été remplacées, alors qu’on les avait laissées sur les supports comme préconisé. L’hôtel est assez excentré du centre historique de Lecce, si vous n’êtes pas……

“Die Unterkunft Borgoterra im Herzen der Altstadt von Martano ist ein wirkliches Idyll! Sehr umsichtig wurden mehrere Gebäude eines historischen Convents, der früher zur (unüberhörbaren) benachbarten Kirche gehörte, zu Gästezimmern umgebaut. Bei der Sanierung wurde die alte Bausubstanz erhalten. We stayed a total of 6 nights and thought the location was fanatic.  In the old town close to the major square.  Pretty much pedestrianised, though there are a few cars but they give way to people.  Everywhere was in walking distance,  and if you weren't distracted by the lots of little shops then from here to the outer walls is only about 15 minutes.  The accommodation is close to the main bus routes,  upto 4 minutes walk to catch the bus to the bus station,  then from there many……

“Lovely boutique hotel with friendly and helpful service. Our room was very spacious and nicely decorated with a comfy bed and premium linens. The hotel is in a great area and just a few minute’s walk to all the major sites in the old town.”

“Rented studio apartment, very large, 1000 sq ft, felt like a room in a castle with original columcs and arched stone ceilings. Super comfortable for 2. Great outdoor area with several seating locations for nice breakfast on sunny days. Next to old town, market 100 meters away. Ask for parking on premises (tricky manouvers) as the street parking always full. Basic breakfast provided night before. Overall great place with nice and helpful owners.”
