We stayed in a spacious Deluxe suite which can easily accommodate 4 persons. There’s abundance of TV channels provided which is a bonus. Beds and pillows are definitely comfortable. Need to pay a couple of hundred for deposit when check in, so don’t forget to take it back. The 2 bottles of water are not free. Somehow our Deluxe room is in the adjoining high rise building……
“The hotel is very new, colourful and lively. Nice location right behind the Eastern oriental hotel, good access to food and main street. Hotel equipped with 24 hours indoor swimming pool and gym and good enough for some exercise.
One turn off is the view from the room, we were assigned for a room in inner section of the hotel which basically facing the wall and window of the opposite room. I think the front desk can do better as the outer room facing the street are mostly empty. ”

“I had a really bad experience with this homestay. I booked a room and received no confirmation or reply at all. After waiting, I decided to message them—only then did the host finally respond and casually told me the room was not available, and asked me to apply for a refund myself. No apology, no help.
I tried contacting the agent and was told to just “wait” with no clear update. It’s been days now. I’ve checked my mailbox and refund status—nothing. The communication is incredibly slow, and……
“It was a really nice stay exactly as we hoped for! The location on the beach was beautiful and the villa had all the comforts of home. Was conveniently located within short car ride to Georgetown. Also the bag of ice in the freezer for drinks was a nice touch!”

Somehow our Deluxe room is in the adjoining high rise building and you need to walk across the carpark entrance to get into the building, my major concert is the security , although outsiders don’t have an access card, but they can still follow you into the lift and go up, and I noticed that the security guard at the car park entrance doesn’t really check on people entering the lift lobby.
The other minor issue is the quality of their maintenance works, it seems they could be more attentive to details of their work, it’s not that these will affect the quality of staying, it’s just looks odd having things like toilet seat and sockets are installed crooked/ misaligned in a so called “luxury” hotel, not to mention that the furniture are not high end “luxury” stuff.
Front desk and staff are friendly and helpful 👍👍.
Overall we had a pleasant stay, I would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Penang."
