Great Location and Stay

Our son is moving to the area, so we booked on short notice for a weekend to help him find housing and explore the area. The location of this house couldn't be better! 6 adults (3 couples) stayed and it was great for everyone to have king beds and bathrooms. We will have to keep this in mind as we will be visiting the area more often now!

One bedroom tv did not work. Windows cloudy from dirt. Entrance was overflowing with foliage. Patio door was smuggy and dirty. Washer and dryer in need of repair, inoperable. No place to store clothing (drawer space).

Great place overall

The property was nice and clean and the beds are amongst the most comfortable we've ever slept on!I would say the biggest issue with this property, especially during a heat wave, is the HVAC system.During the day, the upstairs kitchen and living room got up to a toasty 82F. The AC really never got a chance to shut-off so it was running constantly while we were there. Meanwhile, the basement was freezing. The host was super quick to answer any issues we had and they supplied us with some fans to help things cool down a bit. One of the bedrooms upstairs never got hot so we stuck a fan in the door and tried to cool the living room with that. It worked well enough! I made some recommendations to the host to have the AC system looked at, or to use window / portable units upstairs to keep things cool during the day.Speaking of bedrooms, the VRBO listing didn't do a great job of listing where everything was in relation to each other. There are 3 private bedrooms upstairs including the main bedroom with an en suite. In the basement there are two more bedrooms but one is only accessible through the other and they share a bathroom. Plenty of space! We were very happy with this overall.If we ever find ourselves in the KC area again, we'll be looking into this property for sure!
