Kapaa Kapaa Shopping Center Hotels

"Accommodations were above average overall with some shortcomings. The room was equipped with a Keurig coffeemaker and mini-refrigerator, but no microwave. The (heat pump) air conditioner was effective and welcome, but blew directly onto the bed so you could not escape the direct air flow. Coffee was provided for the Keurig, but no decaf. Room doors (to the hall) could not be closed quietly so early risers or night owls woke those sleeping. I'd probably stay here again, but would have to consider these downsides first."

"The view from our room was amazing!! And the hotel location is in walking distance to so much. Staff was so nice, helpful, and very accommodating. Beds and pillows were a little uncomfortable. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Pono Kai Resort J201. We loved how close we were to the water. We watched the sunrise every morning. Also a close walk to town to get coffee or a bite to eat. We only used the pool once but it was very clean. The resort is well kept and beautiful. The bed and bedding was comfortable and the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. "

"The condo is beautiful, clean, well-equipped, roomy. The best thing is the absolute beautiful sunrises and coastal view. Just walk out the screen door and you are looking at the beach. There is a wonderful walking trail outside the back door also that takes you into town and up the coast. Dave and Nancy were so helpful when we had questions. They responded quickly We felt right at home. The little "town" of Kapa'a has cut shops and eateries. We loved our stay!"

"Beautiful view from the balcony, especially the morning sunrise!Place was as described. Great location, half way between the north shore and the south shore.Functional beach area is small but very functional. Additional beach area very close to the north."

"This location is perfect for exploring the island of Kauai. It’s also located near a nice bike/walking path, so it’s easy to explore the area by foot. The accommodations were comfortable and had everything we needed for our week stay."

"Thank you for a great stay! Location was excellent with bike rentals for the path right across the alley. On the ocean for spectacular sunrise! Had enough space for myself and three daughters so we could all have our own bed which was great! "

"The hosts were really nice. Communicated by e-mail and text. Lovely view and the beach right outside. Well stocked kitchen and a closet full of things to do and use. Had a few things that went wrong. We let them know and they were going to contact the resort and their maintenance person. It was not able to be fixed before we left but it would be addressed and fixed for the next visitor. "
