“A lovely place to stay close to Garden of the Gods National Forest and more. My group stayed for a short trip over Memorial Day Weekend and wish we stayed longer. The place is very spacious, has plenty of bedrooms for small and larger groups, and has great updated amenities inside and in the backyard to enjoy. Highly recommend. If planning to visit Garden of the Gods Wilderness, be aware it's about at 45 minute drive to the primary trailheads. If you plan to cook, the property has all the……

Internet not very good in the Illinois woods. Closed cabin has a musty smell from humidity in the woods. Host had an automatic air freshener going to help with air quality.”

“We loved the privacy of the dead end road, and we felt like our kids were safe to play outside while we enjoyed the beautiful view from the back porch. The cabin was perfect for our 2 families, plenty of seating in the main room, the eating area, and the outdoor area. We also loved the location, very close Ferne Cliff State Park and not too far from Giant City State Park for hiking. We hope to stay here again!”
