Great stay at Sora

It was a great stay at Sora Hotel Karuizawa Outlet. Room was spacious and the service staff were warm and welcoming. The lobby area is quaint with a grand piano that guests could play at. It is a dog-friendly hotel, ideal for dog owners and dog lovers. The location is good, less than 10 drive from Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza and there’s free parking on site. Breakfast was sumptuous with 4-5 variety of mains to choose from. If you choose not to have house-keeping, they will refund a small amount of the room fees back to you which is a nice gesture.

My fur angel and I enjoyed the stay. We are glad they have fenced indoor and outdoor play areas for dogs. The staff was kind and friendly. I only want the hotel to reconsider using aroma in their guest room. As soon as we entered the room, I noticed the artificial aroma, and I quickly turned off the humidifier, which seemed to be the source of the aroma. I am a certified health coach and have avidly promoted home use of medical-grade essential oils for better health. However, I cannot tolerate the odors of artificial aroma, which is known to affect our health adversely. Artificial aromas are known to disrupt our nerves and hormone secretions, and even more so for dogs and small animals. But unfortunately, artificial aromas are widely used in Japan. To prove the adverse effect of the artificial aroma, I continually experienced a runny nose while in the room. I do not have hay fever or any allergy associated with the pollens or seasonal impacts. My body shows such symptoms only when I am exposed to artificial oils. Having a constant runny nose is a very rare event for me. I cannot imagine how much the adverse effects of the aroma invisibly affect my dog. So, please avoid using artificial aromas that are widely commercially available.

Small rooms, very functional, good value. Easy 30 min walk from Karuizawa station/Outlet mall. Plenty of space to walk dogs. Even large dogs are welcome.

全館清潔でスタッフの皆様も感じよく、到着が深夜を過ぎることを告げた時にも詳細に部屋までの入室方法を教えていただき安心して滞在できました。 お部屋も可愛くお値段もお手頃だと思います。 車がないとアクセスしづらいと思いますが、車移動の方にはお勧めです。

室内ドッグランがあるホテルは初めてでした。長旅でストレスがかかった愛犬がとても喜び満足していました。また他のホテルではベッドに犬を上らせないよう神経を使っていましたが、こちらのホテルでは、ベッドに乗ってしまうためのカバーが準備してあります。また犬用のオムツも無料でいただけます。犬連れの旅行者には最高のホテルでした。軽井沢が大好きで愛犬連れで度々おとずれますが、絶対にまたこちらのホテルにお世話になりたいと思います。ありがとうございました。（旧軽井沢　アウトレットにも近く、十分楽しめました）

下仁田軽井沢線沿は理解していましたが、場所が若干わかりにくいので一度通り過ぎてしまいました。 ユニットバスなので狭さ、使いにくさはありますが、それは仕方がないですが、ホテル・部屋は清潔感があり、騒音等もなく満足でした。
