A magical retreat a short journey from Athens.

Villa Dova is an exceptional home, full of character and Greek charm. The covered outdoor terraces, well tended garden and olive groves makes for a magical setting. The inside spaces are equally delightful, clean, comfortable and full of art, antiquity, and curiosities. Although air conditioned, the house is cool, airy and well protected with insect screens. Angie was the perfect host, discreet but always on hand with help, advice and a bountiful supply of fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden….the figs were a particular favorite. The local beach is quiet and perfect for cooling off in calm clear waters. Limnionas beach is more lively and the Georges Taberna serves great food with a wonderful outlook over the bay. We (a party of 8) arrived with high expectations and I can honestly say these were exceeded. I only hope that we will be able to return one day as with such rave reviews I don’t doubt that Villa Dova will become Neu Stira’s No.1 destination. Thank you Angie. Amazing and Stunning property

We could not have been more thrilled with our stay at Villa Dova. Angie was delightful, helpful and welcoming, going above and beyond to make our stay really special from the generous food and drink she provided on our arrival through to the lovely gifts of fruit and vegetables picked fresh from her garden. The villa, gardens and location are utterly glorious. The house is large, luxurious (supremely comfy beds!), beautifully decorated and there was everything a family could wish for (and more) in the very well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, barbecue facilities, towels, linen and beach gear. The beach itself, only a very short walk away, was incredibly quiet, with a reserved spot with umbrella, loungers and kayak all ready for us - which, alongside the crystal clear water, meant we rarely wanted to venture further afield for another beach experience! Additionally Angie had provided a huge amount of information on good places to eat and about things to see and do locally, we only scratched the surface of the recommended excursions. Overall we could not have wished for a more amazing place to stay - our only regret is that we did not stay longer. Thank you so much, Angie, we will be back!
