「Lovely little cottage, had everything we needed for our few days and was very clean. A lovely welcome package was waiting for us and it's a great location for seeing Haworth and the Brontë parsonage. Parking at the old hall was perfect as it was a short walk to the cottage. Though quite a few steps which might be difficult for older people. 」

「We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The location is perfect, sitting right on the local canal in a very picturesque village. The local church bells add such a lovely, traditional touch to the stay. We also spent some time at The White Lion pub, which we’d definitely recommend to other travelers. A very peaceful and authentic experience.」

Hosts warm, friendly, welcoming, there if you needed anything but also left you alone if that's what you wanted also. Excellent wi fi. Dog friendly. We had a lovely time from exploring the village to walking local trails it had it all, lots of places to eat and drink in only a short distance, hosts are lovely and the property has all you need, milk in the fridge, arrival treats!! 「The Sykes Cottages customer service is appalling. No number to ring and the response time to the text and WhatsApp is ridiculous. The cottage was great but Sykes were not. After booking I had a problem with amending the name on the booking and getting a receipt. I was eventually told it was not possible to make amendments but it was also not possible to do this on hotels.com. Also one of our party left an iPad and is quite rightly worried about.
