"Place was clean and tidy. Banging noise all night long which I finally figured out at 5 in the morning. The little mini fridge was the culprit, every time the compressor kicked on .. Whe I unplugged it problem was solved. Location was good."

"I travel quite a bit and this has honestly been one of the favorite places I’ve stayed in a long time! We stayed as a family and had the two bed/two bath room. It allowed us so much room as a family and a the price was very reasonable for the nights we booked. The hotel was very quiet and we never heard any noises in our room. You can hear planes overhead when outside or at the pool, but it didn’t affect our enjoyment of the property. The breakfast was really good every morning too and there was plenty of seating. They have a Wednesday reception in the evening but we didn’t attend, so im not sure what was offered. There is a $21 fee for parking, and the drive to downtown San Diego and everywhere else was so quick and easy. Overall I give this hotel 5+ stars and would for sure stay there again the next time I return to San Diego. "

"the lobby had tools and new flooring. Looked like someone who was also doing work tried to check me in. He asked for my ID and had to send it to someone else by cell phone. he told me the elevator was not working well. Then told me there was no internet and no TV. I told him I can not stay with out TV and Internet. He said well contact Expedia he has nothing to do with my payment. I tried texting and communicating with Travelocity several times. "

"Loved the retro architecture. Staff was great and took good care of us. Parking extremely limited. Swimming pool was closed. The restaurant was closed two of the nights we were there. The rooms were good. The bed was comfy. Location was great."
