“With only relatively minor issues, the stay was great. It was our first time at this location; we usually stayed at the Red Lion that is now burned down. Cost was pretty close to the same but the place is much better than Red Lion ever was: Same breakfasts, cleaner rooms, somewhat better Internet. The downside in comparison was a smaller pool and a hottub that is currently in the middle of remodel; the jets have to be turned on by staff because it is currently powered by a wet/dry vac. “Was not my first selection and wish I would have selected a different hotel. Very dated. Staff was great and very helpful but the hotel itself was in rough shape. Carpet in the room was dirty and felt sticky. We had a bug, silverfish, in our room. Went for breakfast 30 minutes before it was done being served and there wasn’t anything left. A comment was made by the staff that I need to give detail of my vehicle so no one would do anything to it. What does that mean?”
