“It was a great property”

“amazing resort, amazing staff (the nicest i’ve ever encountered) great amenities. i loved my stay here, would definitely come back to another riu in zanzibar in the future!”

“去酒店的路有点差，从主路上拐到酒店的路时，路况有点差；酒店大门内外像是俩个世界，差别太大。酒店是蛮好的，推荐。”

“Worst hotel experience in my 75 years! We booked four rooms at Kendwa Rocks through Expedia: two pool bungalows and two deluxe rooms. My son emailed requesting adjoining rooms and a crib for his one-year-old. The hotel cheerfully confirmed both requests in writing. After a full day of travel, we arrived to find our reservation not honored. The pool bungalows had been given to other guests, my son’s family had neither adjoining rooms nor a crib, and my wife and I lost our pool bungalow. The……

“Location on Kendwa beach was the best! Beautiful swimming, restaurant with beach view and stunning sunsets right from your beach chair. You can walk to other restaurants and the beach was safe for walking. Patrols also ensured beach merchants did not get too close. Wifi was spotty at times. Room was comfortable, though sometimes AC would go out due to spotty electricity issues which is all over zanzibar so not the property. A wonderful and easy stay after safari!”

“A great option for those on a budget. The room was spotless and cleaned every day. It had tea and coffee and a kettle, a desk and soap and shampoo. The staff did their best to help in any way possible, but I found it easier to book my own excursions. The beach is close, just a short walk down a rough track. Location is good for basic shops and restaurants. The breakfast was wonderful and more than enough to keep me going all day. The restaurant also serves food all day and has a bar. The area……

“10 out of 10 it was perfect. Staff was also very helpful.”

“Resort direttamente sulla spiaggia di kendwa. Ha tutto il necessario per una bella vacanza: spiaggia, piscina, ristorante, beach bar. Tutto molto pulito e ordinato specialmente le camere. Ristorante molto buono. Consigliato!”

“Camera nuova e molto pulita. Ampi spazi interni e bagno molto bello. Personale gentile ed efficente, buono il ristorante e bella anche la spiaggia, con un ampio spazio di sdraio sia a bordo piscina che oltre. Assolutamente consigliato”

“Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. The only suggestion I have as a means to improve is to potentially find a way to control the flies during the breakfast buffet. We found it slightly bothersome on some occasions. Outside of that, everything was truly amazing and would consider visiting again!”

“Hotellet uppfyllde våra förväntningar. Väldigt lugnt och fint. 5 minuter till stranden. Sängarna!!! Har sällan upplevt så sköna sängar som på detta hotell. Rekommenderar hotellet å det varmaste”

“A very average 3-star hotel. The floor is tiled. The water in the bathroom runs through a tankless heater, causing the temperature to fluctuate wildly. The shower head is adjusted so that the infrequent streams are too powerful. There's practically no space to put your razor, etc. A plus is the presence of a safe. The breakfasts are very meager. The evening barbecue party also has tiny portions, but the price is low.”
