This is a lovely hotel with the most amazing staff. Francis and Noah deserve a special mention for remebering our names and being such friendly people. the food is excellent with so much choice and again the staff make sure you are quickly seated and drinks orders taken. The hotel is also situated next to the best bit of a lovely beach.

Absolutely fantastic! The hotel and our room was spotless and as soon as we walked in we were welcomed and made to feel special. Our room was incredible, so spacious and comfortable. Every single staff member at the hotel could not have done more to make our holiday unforgettable, everyone went above and beyond, were polite and friendly. Food was delicious and there was so much variety, the restaurants were fantastic with the best steak ever!! The pools made it feel like we were in complete paradise, overlooking the beach, plenty of sun loungers, brilliant entertainment and fantastic staff always there to get us a cocktail!

Overall it's a beautiful property. The rooms, pools, beach and other amenities are all very nice. The main concern we had was that it is essentially a "compound". You can't talk to a nearby town or enjoy local culture because the resorts are all very separated from the rest of the island. We also thought the food was not up to the standard of other RIU Palace hotels. This was our fourth stay at a RIU Palace and the food at the others was definitely better. That being said, the hotel is beautiful, the staff lovely and we enjoyed our stay.

Nice resort located on the beach ! Rooms are large and comfortable. All inclusive meals at the buffet were ok (5/10). Drinks were below average (3/10), except for beer. You definitely feel safe at the hotel and staff is friendly and helpful at all times.

The hotel and room are spotless, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They offer a wide variety of breakfast options, and the spa is simply amazing. We also thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant, which serves delicious food and has an impressive selection of wine labels.

I had an ocean-view room, which was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The buffet was good with plenty of options, and there were several à la carte restaurants for dinner that were included as well. I also liked that the beach wasn't private. It gave us the chance to meet friendly, talented local people. Some performed traditional dances, while others sold souvenirs. They were always polite and never pushy. You can also take a nice walk along the beautiful white-sand beach and browse the local shops. My husband and I spent five nights here and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Beautiful property with extremely friendly staff. The view of the beach was amazing. There were events all throughout the day hosted by hotel staff, so we did not have to leave the resort for anything . They cleaned our rooms multiple times a day. Our minibar was always stocked. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for. Relaxing getaway.

We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed it and wish we had more nights here. It recently opened so the areas are in good condition and nice lounge areas with amazing view. The beds were comfortable. We only got to try the «buffet» for lunch which was quite nice. Not that many guests for now which I liked.

Excellent hotel in a beautiful location. Food staff service and amenities were perfect . Only complaint total lack of a business center, not even a laptop to use in case of emergency. For 5 stars hotel ( Riu chain ) this needs to be improved.

This was our first trip to Zanzibar and this facility was impeccable. The food was certainly international and tasty! Staff was attentive. Entertainment was great! There’s a range of options every night was different. I recommend it without hesitation.

The hotel was lovely, staff were always very friendly with a smile. Our room was very spacious and had everything we needed. Food was excellent, with a good choice of vegetarian food at the main buffet. It was a shame the pool bar food lacked vegetarian selection as did the Al a carte restaurants. Pool staff and entertainment team were great, there was no pressure to join activities if you didn’t want to. Thoroughly enjoyed our time.
