The first room I got into had cold shower but that was rectified with the staff immediately so thank you and she even gave me a free coffee and tea voucher or all the grounds, a massive car park is really good. "The hotel is a beautiful old country style hotel with all the quirks you’d expect to find in such a historic building. Stayed for 1 night as a party of 2 couples pre-flight and would stay there again. Convenient location for our purpose. There were a few issues experienced during our stay which were mainly due to the restaurant. We’d pre booked a 7.30pm table in advance of our stay. Various food offerings on the menu were not available (we were advised - changeover of menu meant they’d underestimated ingredients). Starters arrived in good time however it was quite a wait for the mains to be served. We were not offered any deserts and when we asked for coffee we were advised that the coffee machine had been switched off (this was only 9.30pm on a Friday night). There didn’t seem to be a visible ‘manager’ overseeing the restaurant or anyone that you could pick out as being a manager/person of responsibility. Lady at reception on check-out took our keys, advised all paid and didn’t even ask us if we’d enjoyed our stay! Just one breakfast tea teabag in the room for 2 people!"

"Lovely, friendly staff who will go out of their way to help you. Nice, clean beds and rooms. Everything you need. Would be nice to have a hairdryer in the room instead of having to ask for one, but this is only a minor inconvenience. We didn't use the bar or have breakfast there as we were visiting relatives near by. Excellent stay."

"The Delta Hotels by Marriott proved to be an excellent last-minute choice for our stay on 25-26 September 2026. The hotel's location is a real highlight. It's within easy walking distance of the city centre, Swansea Marina & the seafront, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. It was also particularly convenient for Swansea Bay parkrun, which was one of the reasons for our visit. We were impressed by how quiet the hotel was. Despite its central location, the sound insulation was excellent a & we enjoyed two peaceful nights' sleep. The staff were consistently welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay, creating a positive first impression from check-in onwards. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, offering plenty of room to relax after a day out. While the hotel is well maintained, it is starting to show its age in a few areas. The air conditioning worked well enough but was noticeably louder than in more modern hotels. The main drawback was the bathroom design. The shower is fitted over a particularly high bath, making entry and exit difficult. A refurbishment programme that replaces these baths with modern walk-in showers would make the hotel much safer and more accessible for guests. Overall a great stay."
