“Kitchen was well stocked and spacious, rooms were comfy, lounge spaces were great, hot tub was as advertised. Found it cheeky that we were given limited wood for the fire and had to buy any additional we required down the road - and it also wasn’t advertised that we had to take our waste and recycling with us when we left and pay a fee to drop it at the local station. It wasn’t open on the holiday Monday when we left so our car was pretty full of waste unfortunately. Would’ve been good to know……

“If you're looking for a real home away from home this property is your answer. The hosts were lovely, the beds incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked and being so close to the lake was incredible. We woke up to a deer in the backyard and enjoyed breakfasts and Dinners on the covered patio which was so perfect since it decided to rain most of our trip. Everything was easy as you'd hope your stay to be. We'd love to come back and enjoy a bit of a longer stay next time. ”

The hexagon design of the main space is one of the most unique, yet innovative uses of space, that creates an open feel, yet defines kitchen, living, dining and lounge areas. “Our family and another family stayed to celebrate our wedding. We had enough room for the kids and puppies to play. A well stocked kitchen to cook meals and a lovely outdoor sitting area. The quiet countryside was breathtaking and the house was large! We don’t even use all of the bedrooms. ”

We were staying in town for a celebration of life and it gave our 3 out of town families with children lots of space and a great living room and dining room to gather in. The bedrooms were huge and the beds very comfortable. The kids thought it was fun to be up in the bedrooms on the top floor. Beautiful bathrooms. Lots of parking behind the house and a gate to the entire property that we could close and lock. Short……
