It's a lake view, from across Hwy 178, so don't expect you are walking distance to the lake, or anything really. Grateful these kinds of places still exist. “Minutes from shopping and restaurants in kernville and secluded enough to enjoy the silence. The cedar hot tub over looking the horse pasture was fun. The place was well stocked with everything we needed and the host was very responsive. With family living close by we will be staying again.”

“In short, our stay was great! The home overlooks lake isabella and the mountains behind it. Gorgeous 😍. 20 minutes up the road is Alta sierra, a ski slope. 2 hours from there is the trail of 100 giants. Great location. Wood interior of the house is beautiful. Cookware is limited, but still able to make a fabulous dinner. Recommend allergy medicine as the dirt generates dust and pollen from the trees. Nighttime offers a twinkling starry night display like no other! Sequoia National Forest is……

“Overall a good place to stay! Clean, modern and comfortable! An issue with the thermostat was being taken care of when we arrived, and took a few hours to fix, but Linda was super nice about it and we had no problems after that! We'd stay there again!”
