Fantastic vacation!

We absolutely loved this home! It was very well appointed, stocked and was very clean. It was also centrally located to Old Town. The team at Avant Stay were a pleasure to deal with, very responsive and helpful.

Everything We Hoped For

The Easy Livin' stay was everything we expected and more. Originally based around a work trip, our team and their family members found this place accessible and a nice retreat while already on vacation.

Easy Livin was Livin Easy

Second time staying at this house. Loved every minute of it! Large enough for all accommodations! Location was perfect. Only thing I can pick on was the pool heating. Even after spending almost $900 to heat it, it still didn't work properly. All in all, we loved our time at the Easy Livin house and will definitely do it again!

Nice Place

Amazing spot in the middle of Key West

We really enjoyed our stay here - the perfect location, accessible to all the livelihood of Duval Street with none of the noise back at home! The Truman Annex is a special spot. We hope to be back!

Amazing property and location!!

The location of this home in Truman Annex is great! Huge home, very comfortable for our group of 8 adults, 1 child. We walked everywhere, Fort Zachary Taylor beach was fun, Hemingway House tour great, our pool was smaller but fun, with lots of pool toys. Ate so much good food, even cooked at home one night. Rented a crib and high chair from The Hip Tourist. Key West is wonderful!!

March getaway

Location is terrific, easy to walk to everything. House is in excellent shape, well equipped The March Art show was on at the Waterfront Park on Sunday, a nice start. Latitudes on Sunset Key was great for breakfast. Went to Truman White House and Hemingways. We were very pleased with the property managers quick response to fix a protruding nail on the railing to the second floor.

Relaxation at a new level

All of the appliances were top notch and the kitchen was stocked with every cooking tool you could ever need.The area was private and peaceful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What a gem in the heart of Truman Annex. Easy Livin' had everything we needed for a relaxing Key West getaway. The large kitchen was perfect for all of our meal prep needs, the outdoor lounging spaces were sublime, the location was walkable to all of the major attractions. We enjoyed the visits by the iguana as well! There was a minor issue with getting the pool heat turned on which took a couple of calls to the office so would suggest calling before you arrive to verify that it will be on. Other that that, everything was perfect and we would absolutely stay here again!

Be Wary of AvantStay!

Be wary of AvantStay! In their description of “EasyLivin” in Key West, AvantStay did not reveal in advance: (1) in addition to the quoted one week rental rate and taxes, the invoice included a substantial “host fee” and “service fee”; (2) There is a substantial additional charge for heating the pool to 78 degrees [small pool, warm climate] (3) if you lose your house keys you will be charged a substantial fee. When I inquired what the unheated pool temperature was, AvantStay replied “Key West has perceived temperatures between 75°F and 90°F on those dates”. “Easy Livin” is not the best choice for seniors: (1) neither the pool nor entrance stairs have a handrail; (2) both upstairs bathrooms have a tub/shower combination w/o grab bars (not described); (3) the bed in the main bedroom is 34” high which is hard for some to climb on. Except for the above, we had a nice stay. “EasyLivin” is lovely, and AvantStay was helpful with a maintenance problem. Suggestion: label the multitudinous wall switches, fix stuck doors/locks, and replace the twin beds (rickety).

Reviewer Comments: OK, this might be a long review....short story, this was probably the best place we have stayed in Key West in the 7 years that we have been coming down here.If you’ve read any of the other reviews, you know this is a beautiful place in a great location. The house is absolutely gorgeous!! The location is ideal in Key West as you are able to use the back gate and get out onto Duval Street in a matter of minutes. The street itself is a nice quiet street and the 1 parking place at the house was big enough for us to put our suburban. Yes the house has patios all around it accessible from all the bedrooms and the kitchen and the living room and it is hey gorgeous place to call home for a week.The inside is laid out very well there’s plenty of space and for eight people and you have more than enough room in the house. There is plenty of beds, bedding, seats to sit down, places to squirrel away and read a book and lounge chairs out by the pool. There are plenty of linens and there are towels for everyone so that you can comfortably sit outside. But the most spectacular part of this house is the kitchen and all of the items that you have at your disposal. If you are planning to come with your large family or a group of friends you will find everything you need there. The only items that I wished I had brought more of were Tupperware containers and Ziploc bags to put my leftovers when we cooked in so that we could easily store them in the fridge. A few extra chip clips would’ve helped as we opened many bags of chips while we were snacking so I wish I had brought a few more of them. If you do like to cook, you will need to bring your own spices, olive oil etc. with you so that you can spice up your food the way you want to. Otherwise, this place has Everything you need to have a fabulous vacation.If given the opportunity I would stay here again.Check in and check out was super easy and the check out duties were mini

Lovely family retreat

Lovely home in great quiet location

We were a family of 7 adults and a one year old. House was perfect! Well stocked kitchen, large and comfortable outdoor area both covered and open. Great small pool, lots of room to spread out. Location is great-close to everything but quiet and secluded in Truman Annex.
