Perfect home for family and friends

We loved our stay and highly recommend this home. There was plenty of room for two families. It was cozy (especially the beds) and not overdone, it felt like home. We were close enough to the ski areas and shopping but far enough out to enjoy the views. The communication was excellent and thank you for the last minute late checkout! We are already planning a return next year.

Weekend trip with large group

Place was great location to Keystone but house in general could use a little upkeep - some lightbulbs were out, cobwebs, walls had markings on staircase, canned lights in basement falling out, fireplace not working. Considering the size of the house and the group, could do with more general supplies such as paper towels, trash bags, laundry detergent and towels. But otherwise served for a fun weekend.

Fun stay in Keystone

Deck had grease from the grill. Nails were sticking up on the deck. Those items need your attention. Otherwise, we were very pleased with the accommodations. It’s a beautiful location!

7 Day Stay

We stayed here for 7 days. Beautiful house even though it’s not as modern as it seems in the pictures. The location is great! I liked the fact that the grill is connected to the gas so you don’t have to worry about filling up the propane tank. They even had a meat temperature reader. Some things are a bit outdated but everything seemed to work properly. Overall I’d give this house an 7.5/10. We enjoyed our stay here.

The tv in the living area downstairs didn’t work and none of the deck areas were shoveled which made them a bit hard to use. Weekend Stay in Dillion

We had a wonderful girls trip. It was an easy self check in, however the cleanliness wasn’t great, upon arriving there were cigarette butts all over the outside of the property by the hot tub along with empty beer cans in the yard. My friend and I got bed bug bites as we slept in the same room upstairs and they have been incredibly uncomfortable since leaving the property. The host was very good in getting back to me, however I was bummed that we didn’t hear back about early check in even with asking about it months and days in advance. The house is just like the pictures however most rooms are twin beds in order to accommodate families, so good to know as we were expecting more full size beds.

The only problem we had is that the refrigerator was not working and some food was spoiled, also there was not enough hot water for bathing, it was only enough for two people and the rest of the 11 people we were there had to bathe with cold water; I can't imagine being there in winter without enough hot water, I think it is a very important detail to consider. Otherwise we were very happy with the place, it has a beautiful view.

Property was great with a great location. Deck was awesome plenty of room for our group of 9. The only downside was the kitchen amenities. There was a lack of good cookware primarily frying pans. Of the 2 that were at the house, 1 was in poor shape and was no longer non-stick. The other one was stainless steel. For a house meant for lots of people, you probably need larger fry pans that are in good shape. There is also a lack of sharp knives. Overall, though a great time and a good house.

We loved the area, the layout of the house, the gathering areas, and the outdoor deck, patio, and hot tub. The kitchen was probably the best stocked of any vacation rental we’ve stayed in, making cooking meals for a crowd easy and convenient. In my opinion, the property is best suited for 1-2 couples with small children. A large group of adults is going to find the beds leave something to be desired, with most of them being twin beds and all of them lacking a bit in comfort. I would gladly return and even pay more for an upgrade to the sleeping accommodations.Overall, we had a great experience and felt the price was fantastic. Thank you!

I asked the property management company how to get more and they said to come to the office and pick some up. We went to their office, and they gave us one used trash bag and turned us away. We were given misleading information. They refused to rectify the situation and we wasted too much time of our vacation going back and forth with them about something as silly as trash bags. The home did not have basic cleaning supplies for us to maintain kitchen counters, etc. We also noticed trash around the perimeter of the house. Very unimpressed with their customer service and for that reason, we will likely not rent with their company again. The house itself was great and would recommend it to others.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house layout, and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms was just right for our extended family of 13. We had privacy for sleeping and space for living that made the house very comfortable. The updated kitchen and master bath were well done, attractive and functional. However, housekeeping improvements are necessary. Sheets were dirty (found a sock), carpets were dirty, and they didn't notice a huge piece of the dishwasher was not attached. We've stayed in dozens of short term rentals and never experienced "dirty" like this. Even the puzzles and games we opened had hair and food crumbs. Homeowner needs to replace the twin beds and bedding. Good location with easy access to Mountain House base, but we wouldn't consider coming back without a cleaning overhaul and furniture improvements.

Pictures are not worth a thousand words

We arrived at the property for a 5-day ski vacation for spring break. From the pictures of the listing, it looks like a very clean large home close to the keystone resort. The check in process was fine, no issues. But as we entered the house, we immediately were taken away by the smell of cigarettes and mold/musky odor. The house is large, but it is extremely outdated and far from clean. Carpets are brown from being dirty, cobwebs and dirt and hair was found everywhere throughout the house. The baseboard heating worked in some rooms, but not in others so for a night in Colorado as temps drop a few of party froze every night. The bed linens and comforters stunk and were old and musky, we went to target and purchased new blankets as we did not want to sleep under the ones provided. The driveway was full of snow and 9 inches of ice and was very hard to navigate unloading luggage and loading up for the day. Garage was dirty and small; garage doors were finicky and broken glass and trash were left on the floor. First time I have ever been catfished on a property, and I have been using VRBO for 7-10 years. We contacted the property management and asked for at least a 50% refund and then stay at a hotel it was that bad. But they only responded by saying they could have someone come out and look at the discrepancies and install air purifiers. Never again, look at the reviews and not the pictures solely. This was a nice house 30 years ago, overpriced and not worth it.
