Wonderful Rental!

This home was everything we could have asked for on Kiawah Island! Very comfortable layout and beautifully decorated. Close enough to beach to hear the waves. The back deck overlooking pond was a great for reading and dining. Lots of wildlife to keep us entertained! Thank you to the awesome hosts!

3 Generation Trip

We had 6 people in our group. Mother, daughter, daughter trip. it was a perfect location, a very short walk to the beach that was beautiful. and house was well stocked, there is a grocery store right up the road, very convenient. We saw a few alligators right out the back yard, was fun to see them. very quite neighborhood. would stay there again.

Perfect place for Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful stay in this home for a long weekend over the Thanksgiving holiday. The kitchen had everything we needed for a full Thanksgiving meal with plenty of serving pieces! We’ve been to Kiawah several times and were pleasantly surprised how close the house was to the beach. Would definitely come back!

Surfscouter Kiawah Island

The place was absolutely stunning the hosts were amazing. Distance to the ocean was like a minute's walk! It has everything you could possibly need for a big family of six. Will definitely book again 🤗

Splendous Stay at Surfscoter

Wonderful home with a great location! Great space, clean, well cared for, with all the accessories needed. We hope to be back to Kiawah next year and Surfscoter will be our first pick. We have come every summer for years, and this is our favorite place we have stayed.

Beachy Home

We so enjoyed our stay at this lovely home on a lagoon and within easy walking distance to a beautiful beach. Beds were comfy. Lots of space to spread out .Kitchen was fully stocked. The management staff was quick to answer any questions. The weather was great even with the blustery winds. Enjoyed exploring the island. Tea Plantation on Wadmalaw was quite interesting. Enjoyed lunch at Heron Night Park and dinner at Tomasso's. Beautiful place to relax and unwind!

Great location, close to the beach! Warm, clean, cozy and spacious home!

Our stay was short but sweet. Your house was perfect for a quick stop on our east coast family road trip. Close to a beautiful beach, great biking, walking trails, enjoyed a nice restaurant for dinner and house itself is warm, clean and cozy with plenty of sunlight and plenty of room for family of five! Hope to stay longer next time!!

Great property, great vacation

Our anniversary trip was wonderful. The house was spacious and clean. We loved that it was a block from the beach. There's nothing like walking in the sand and feeling the ocean breeze. We recommend the Kiawah Island restaurants, and we really appreciated the convenience of the Freshfields center which included a grocery. If we're in the Charleston area in the future, we will return to Surfscoter.

Great stay!

We booked one week ahead. It was easy the house was as stated in the reviews. Great location to the beach we rented bicycles and really enjoyed the trails. Nice touch with cookies and wine. Felt welcome. Would highly recommend this house for a quiet unplugged time away!

Wonderful home

We stayed at 86 Surfscoter ln. The pictures on line did not do justive to the actual home. Every room was comfortable clean and well decorated. The kitchen had every thing you would need and the grill had a back up propane tank. Light switches and kitche. Drawers were well labeled making everthing easy to find. Queit neighbordhood and close the the beach. Highly recommend!

Excellent House

This property’s location cannot be beat, you really can’t get closer to the beach entrance unless you rent an oceanfront property. The house was clean and as described. Neighborhood was beautiful. Beds were comfortable, hosts responded immediately with any questions. There were some biting gnats while we sat on the back deck, but that is to be expected with location on lagoon. We saw many birds and two different gators. We loved it and will be coming back!

Surfscoter is amazing!

Visit to 86 Surfscoter was simply phenomenal! Great location (just across the street from the beach). Extremely well maintained and cared for property with all accessories needed! Extremely clean! Kitchen had all equipment needed to prepare and host many fabulous meals & gatherings. Living & sleeping areas have many special touches. Will definitely rent this property again!

Perfection!

Surfscoter had everything we could ever want! The home was cheerful and comfortable and beautifully decorated. Cabinets and light switches are labeled and the kitchen was well stocked w pots pans, dishes, appliances etc. Board games, beach towels and toys were included. The walk to the beach takes 5 min at most. We rode bikes (rented) on the beach, in the neighborhood, and to the Heron Park restaurant, The Nest. Sarah and Steven clearly understand hospitality! They provided welcome treats as well. We spotted a gator in the lagoon as well (exciting!). We would definitely come back. Thank you!

Lovely house with great views! Spacious and comfortable. Private and secluded!

I had the absolute pleasure of spending 4 nights at 86 Surfscoter Lane and would be there right now if my schedule permitted. The house is lovely with comfortable bedrooms that easily accommodated our group: three HS friends meeting for a mini reunion. We enjoyed the deck with pond views, spacious comfortable living room, and wonderful kitchen. The owners have paid attention to detail and comfort without a feeling of fussiness or preciousness. Within the community of homes, old oak trees, shrubs and spanish moss create a feeling of privacy and seclusion. We rode bikes, kayaked, followed porpoises and watched birds, walked to the beach, and could have played golf and tennis if we had had more time. It is a terrific house for a family or a group of friends looking for a special escape to the beach combined with opportunities to immerse in nature.
