"Absolutely loved everything about this motel! It had everything we needed for a quick stay. Only downside was that a delivery truck came at 06:30am on a Saturday and was so very loud and scary sounding we could not sleep! But if you’re not in the rooms by number 2 then you probably wouldn’t have heard it. When I do come back I’ll request a different part of the motel for sure. "

"We liked our stay overall. We did receive 2 phone calls and an email asking us to cancel our stay because they were full. We didn’t see the email because our phone service doesn’t work well in foreign countries. So we showed up for our reservation and we were the only 3 people staying at the place. We were very confused about that. The place otherwise is very nice and could be a great venue for events too. I hope they do well. "I had a fantastic stay at Frederiksdal Sinatur Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-maintained the room was. The bed was very comfortable. Although there was no air conditioning or could not find the controls, the room stayed pleasantly cool throughout my stay, which made it very comfortable The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options, and the service throughout the hotel was consistently excellent. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area or commuting to Gentofte!"

"The property said the check-in was open until 22:00, but when we arrived at 20:00, we had to look around to find someone. The description said their bar was open until later, but we were told it was unavailable when we checked in. Our room was in the basement of a dusty inn with ill kept carpets, and the shared bathroom had mildew in the grout tiles. The shared kitchen had very noticeable stains on the appliances. We felt uncomfortable and slightly unwelcome. "

Wonderful Week/Fantastic Home

"8 adults & 4 kids from 15-6 stayed for a week in Taastrup. We loved the place and enjoyed easy access to the S train to get into Copenhagen and local shopping. As a group, we all enjoyed the outdoor table and bedroom layout and the kids loved the indoor play area and hot tub. A point of interest is that it's near the train tracks and so when we were outside we heard trains going by. It did NOT effect sleeping unless we had windows open and overall it was not a complaint - just a reality we were surprised by. Taastrup is 25 minutes from Copenhagen Central station by S train. It was not a factor for us and the trip to/from each day went quickly. Being near the end of the line meant we always had seats going into the city.The home is secluded and we really enjoyed the privacy and appropriateness for our family of all ages. I texted Ulrik a couple times and he responded in a timely fashion. They were gracious and accommodating hosts. Overall, we'd return in a heartbeat and our kids wish we'd do it again. "

Excellent motel near Copenhagen

"Wittrup motel was great. Good option for cheaper accommodation near Copenhagen with free parking. I had no car, but public transportation was easy with 123 or 141 bus and i loved being on the green B line, excellent access to everything. Good restaurant on premises, but also try fantastic Turkish restaurant across the street, Mina Etliekmek. Rooms spare but clean and bathrooms modern. "

Beautiful Hotel overlooking the city

"Lovely hotel with amazing helpful friendly staff. Special mention to Ida, who remembered my first name from last trip when checking in. Nice peaceful place to relax after work travel. All facilities on site, free parking and you can walk into the city centre in 5 minutes. Beautiful old building where there are some rooms and restaurant/bar area. Superb place to relax and unwind."
