“When we walked in the floor was sticky. I had to wipe the floor with hot water and the next day buy floor cleaner and do it my self. I had to clean the room my self. There was red hair strings on the sink and bathroom walls. They said the front desk was available till 12 midnight I called ahead to let them know I would be there at 11:30pm to check in, no one was there. My husband went to take a bite of his food and the breakfast sausage was hard like it had been sitting there for a long time.……

“I stayed here in the early 1980s, when I was in my early teens. It has been upgraded since then, but still provided that wonderful nostalgic feeling I had when I first visited the Outer Banks! I wanted my kids to experience this as well, so we booked a room for several days.
We stayed in a courtyard room, which was still very quiet and comfortable, despite being next to the entrance drive. Unlike most beach motels, parking was NEVER an issue! We always had a spot close to the room.

“Terrible experience. Booked for a family trip. For it's price, it's too expensive. Room was not clean, the floor was very sandy. Seemed like it was not vacuumed or even swept. The hallway to the unit and the unit is outdated and smells bad. Bathroom was small, and bathroom floor broken. AC in the living area and No AC in the room. Was not very happy spending $670 for this 3D2N trip.”

“The room was clean, affordable, and pet-friendly, which was a big plus. Many guests had their pets with them, and the pet fee was only $25 per night, which is very reasonable. The only downside was the shower—it was quite small. It was just large enough to stand in, so it might feel a bit cramped for bigger guests. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and a good value for the price.”
