"The staff, especially Sean (front desk) and Matt (valet) were terrific. The room was comfortable and uniquely decorated. While small, the hotel has a fun game room, a coffee shop and a rooftop bar. The location us great for both Uva and downtown attractions. "

"The room was very clean. Adjusting the thermostat was challenging so the room was a little warmer than we like. Next time I will ask about changing the temperature. All the staff members we met were very nice and friendly."

"Loved the tea and cookies every afternoon by the fire and Christmas Tree!!! Also love the breakfast!! My favorite was the cottage cheese and peaches! The bed could have been better but other than that it was great and the staff were very friendly. Enjoyed our stay!!"

"The staff was very nice and helpful! The room was nice and clean. The hotel was undergoing a renovation so there were some issues finding a working ice machine and the room phones did not work, but of course everyone uses cell phones so not a big deal. "
