“This cottage was right on the main road in Colonial Beach. It was very clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The outdoor area was relaxing and had a fire pit and grill. The location was close to everything in town. You could walk to the beach and many stores and restaurants. We love the area and hope to return soon!”

“This was our first time in Colonial Beach and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around town. The house is beautiful and in a great location close to everything. The homeowner was also great to work with and we’ll definitely be back soon!”

“Quiet area great for families. Loved the outdoor space. We brought 2 large dogs and they had a safe place to enjoy without escaping. The fire pit was nice and the shed with the beach chairs and different sized bikes was awesome. The inside was clean and had nice touches. The golf cart rentals and restaurants were very convenient.”

“We had a great stay at this cute little bungalow. The place was super clean and very comfortable. We had everything we needed for our weekend in Fredericksburg, including a nice bottle of wine and a hand-written welcome note from the host. The property is close to downtown, very walkable, and the off-street parking was appreciated. I would recommend the bungalow to anyone and would stay here if I find myself in Fredericksburg again.”

“I was looking for a nice, quiet, and relaxing, vacation. This property did not disappoint. The house was comfortable, cozy, well stocked, and so clean. The view is incredible. Just sitting outside watching the river was so "Zen". I had one of the most restful vacations ever. I was there for a little over two weeks and I would have stayed longer if I could have, Kim, the host, was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying at this beautiful property again.”

When you open the front door, you know you have started your vacation! Beautifully decorated open floor plan gorgeous home! You would think you are steping into a model home! Super cleaned! Perfectly decorated. The kitchen is big, the island is huge, the table is beatiful and you have a great view of the water. Both sitting area and living room……

“My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. It’s the nicest place we’ve stayed in Colonial Beach. Dan, the host, was quick to answer any questions. The home is tastefully decorated and quite comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for the little amount of cooking that we did. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. The view of Monroe Bay was exceptional!! We would love to stay again with friends. The only issue might be the full size beds in the other two……

“This property met our needs. It was clean and had plenty of room for all four of us - one couple, two friends. We received the instructions for entry one day prior, and everything was where it said it would be. The only compliant - the lighting in the main seating area was inadequate. There is a lamp that flickers and seems to be a bit faulty, there was no light from the fan above, and no lights overhead. Other than that compliant - it was was fine. We've stayed in nicer places, we've stayed in……

“Nice updated small house, great location on the water. Great bird watching...saw many bluebirds and eagles in addition to many water birds. Hot tub was great. Note that road to house is gravel and hilly...not good if you have a low clearance car such as a corvette. Our sedan handled it no problem.”

The room was super clean, the bath room was super clean, bed's comfortable A/C unit working great and easy to to manage.the floor/carpet was also very clean. everyone was very friendly. the place was quiet. It was excellent!.will definitely come back. ”

“Everything was so smooth, from the check in to check out. We really enjoyed the beautiful water views and the hot tub! I wish the indoor pool was open a little later, but the kids were able to get in an hour of swimming before it closed. The cabin was well stocked with all essentials and was clean and cozy! We will be back for sure! ”
