“Fabulous view right on the water.Host was responsive.Quaint little cottage. It should be made clear that the sofa bed does not pull out and there is only one bed. More beach towels would be nice and maybe some updated beach chairs. Hairdryer was barely working; a standard size hairdryer should be the bare minimum. The shower was not draining correctly. The cottage could use a deep clean to get rid of cobwebs.Otherwise fabulous stay.”

“This was one of the worst rental experiences I have ever had. I messaged the host day of check-in to ask a question and never received a response. Upon arrival the refrigerator was broken and was not immediately addressed and had food go bad, had to buy coolers and bags of ice to try to salvage the rest. We were excited to use the grill but there was no propane in the tank, and left unclean. The AC stopped working when it got hot and half of the windows didn’t have screens to allow fresh air in.……

“This was first time in the area, We had most wonderful stay at hodge podge lodge. The house was beautiful and sparking clean, well organized and have everything what we needed for stay. It located in nice neighborhood near soda spring ski resort. The house was warm and cozy , heater was good , wood stove was nice touch with plenty of firewood supplies. The bedroom was spacious and beds were comfortable. It was big plus to have easy in and out drive way to the house. We definitely recommend……

The cabin was very clean, bikes were in perfect condition, and the electric grill seemed like it had maybe never been used. We loved listening to CDs in the morning and watching VHS movies at night. “Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. The front seems pretty hemmed in by the neighbors but the back of the property opens up to the woods. We got to see a bear and her two cubs roll past one evening which was exciting for the kids. At the time of our visit, there was some construction next door but I can't fault the property for that. The downstairs……
