“The property was very quiet and serene. Right on the lake and surrounded by trees. Inside was very clean. It had all the amenities necessary for a few nights stay. The beds were super comfortable. Cathy is an excellent host. Would stay here again. ”

“This lake getaway was amazing! Water was crystal clear and Loons on the lake were a surprising bonus. If you want a place to be away from it all, this is ideal. Charming cabin, delightful host, amazing views. To be noted: the water/toilet/electricity is all on a generator and pump. We weren’t expecting that, but the host was very kind and showed up to walk us through how it all works. No issues after that. Also noted: the driveway is very long winding that is not ideal in the dark. The host……

“A beautiful place to stay- lots of room. We never even investigated the lower level! Excellent communication with hosts, who even left a lovely welcome gift. Staying here was a last minute decision and I’m glad it was available, given that it was a Canadian holiday. (If you plan to cook make sure to bring all the ingredients you need as the kitchen is well outfitted with dishes, pans and appliances, but not the basic cooking spices/oils). We would definitely book again the next time we are in……

“This was a charming place, steps from the beach. We arrived late and entered by lockbox. We found a comfortable bed, ample room for clothes, etc. and older but fully functional appliances. The shower/bathroom was a tight fit but everything worked well. TV was hard to figure out for a pair of tech dunderheads. We had no contact with the host while there. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.”

“Our stay at 8 Island View Cottage was perfect. Chelsi was responsive and helpful throughout every step of our booking and stay. She answered our questions and gave recommendations of things to do. The cottage is great and was very clean. The large hottub was so helpful in loosening our aches and pains after a day of scouring the beeches. The views are breathtaking and unmatched by any place we have stayed. The ability to blend relaxation with outdoor activities made our stay very……
