“There were no staff, it was self check in and there was coffee, water, juice and yogurt in the common area. The bagged “lunch” was in your room, it had an apple, orange, banana bread, chocolate chip muffin, small granola bar and a krispie crunch. The website did not say that the restaurant was not open 7 days per week. It is an easy walk to the grocery stores and local restaurants. “I had a wonderful stay at The Burgundy Dream Bed and Breakfast during my first visit to Nova Scotia. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. One of the highlights was the breakfast. Each morning included a selection of cereal, granola, yogurt, coffee, and tea, along with a freshly prepared hot breakfast. “The building itself was lovely, and the decor was beautiful. We stayed in the Sunrise suite and were surprised at JUST how how open the door plan was - there was no partition whatsoever between bedroom and bathroom, and had a full view of toilet and shower from our bed. This would be a lovely room for a single person, but an awkward setup for two people, as there was no privacy for bathroom use. The kitchen and shared space was comfortable and beautifully designed with lots of plants and……

“I wasn't going to be in the room to much, so I didn't require much. The room was basic hotel style with private access, a bed, fridge, microwave, drip-coffee maker, toaster, mini-fridge, TV (assuming with a Roku or similar, but I didn't use it), WiFi access, towels / soaps included, and an oscillating fan as there is no air conditioning. The room was clean, but I found some some long hairs present in the bathroom (not mine), but didn't bother me at all. Decent stay, low noise and comfortable.”
