Perfect holiday base

Pond Cottage is in a great location to explore the west and north coasts of Norfolk. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. The rear garden is also a sun trap - a good place to enjoy a drink after a day out. Many local Pubs to choose from if you wish to eat out but do book ahead as they are popular. Lovely walks along the Peddars Way or the Norfolk Coast Path - and lots of birds to watch. All in all a very comfortable cottage in a good location. And Norfolk Hideaways we’re very efficient in dealing with a minor issue we had on arrival.

Luxurious Homely Cottage

Pond Cottage is beautiful from the moment you arrive at the wrought iron gate, taking you through a cottage garden to the lovely wooden door. The cottage is beautifully decorated and styled. The cleanliness is outstanding. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need for a home from home stay. The furnishings are clean, good quality and create a relaxing, peaceful environment. The beds are comfortable and well presented. The bathroom has an excellent shower and the heating is easy to manage. There are two lounges with very different feels to them, one is modern and looks out on to the enclosed garden which is very nicely designed and maintained and the other is at the front of the property and has a cosy feel with a wood burner. The electrical items are of a high standard and very up to date. We loved everything about our stay at Pond Cottage and would have no hesitation in returning ourselves and recommending to others.

A cosy and comfortable cottage stay

Pond Cottage is a charming cottage and every bit as lovely as it looks in the photos. The owners have done a great job with the decor and fittings and included the kind of details that make a holiday home extra special such as fluffy towels and high quality bed linen. As a family of four we found the space great, especially the two living rooms. There are also many nice places to visit within easy reach - Holkham, Houghton Hall, Burnham Market, Brancaster. There were lovely places to eat, beautiful beaches and an interesting coastline. We hadn’t visited the north area of Norfolk before but will definitely return, hopefully to Pond Cottage!

Pond Cottage

Our stay at Pond Cottage was extremely comfortable and very pleasant. We slept wonderfully and found a lovely cottage that suited us and our springer spaniel. Docking is easy access to lots of wonderful coastline and good walks. Would recommend.

Excellent location to explore North Norfolk

We had a wonderful stay in Pond Cottage. As the weather was so lovely for our week we spent lots of evenings in the back garden which was an unexpected added surprise! The whole cottage is beautifully decorated and the owners have thought of everything. We enjoyed cooking evening meals and the beds were so comfortable! Highly recommended.

Perfect holiday

Pond cottage is beautifully furnished and equipped. Very nicely designed and decorated. Good parking space. A lovely little sunny garden again with very comfy furniture. The bed is very comfy and the towels and bedding, white and excellent quality. The stairs are steep and something to consider if up and down to the bathroom in the night. The road was noisy with going to work traffic. We had a wonderful week on holiday no one should be disappointed in this cottage

Perfect for a family of 5

Pond Cottage is a beautiful, small cottage that is perfect for a family of 5. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed, with a powerful shower, and handy washer dryer for post beach days. It was brilliant having two living rooms as the adults could relax in one room, while the kids played/watched tv/made noise in the other! Sadly it was a bit cold when we were there to use the garden but it looks immaculate and perfect for sunsets. Very useful off street parking and very quiet. We will hopefully come back for another weekend, thank you very much for the wonderful stay!

Absolutely charming cottage

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cottage and so recommend it- it’s heavenly! It’s so beautifully appointed with comfy beds and lovely garden furniture! Its very well kitted out with a decent frying pan (so often rubbish in self catering) and thoughtful store cupboard items are provided like oil, ketchup, tea, dishwasher tablets etc. There is a pizza van on a Monday and a fish and chip shop for a couple of easy dinners!!!! Tiny wanting the stairs to bedrooms are steep if you are not confident on your feet but this was no issue for us. Loved it!!!!!!!
