Perfect family weekend

The home was cozy, clean and well stocked for family fun! The beds were comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. The dock was so very convenient. One question to the host was promptly answered on a weekend afternoon!

The boat lift works

Spent most of the weekend on the lake. theres a couple of smart tvs coffe maker pots and pans etc. we were on our boat most of the weekend. it was a little tricky getting the boat trailer down the driveway but doable. boat ramp was 7min away.

The place itself was nice, quiet and clean. The beds were comfortable and the A/C was wonderful, keeping us cool during the hot summer days. However, communicating wirh Vacasa, the third party that the owner chose to manage the property, was an incredibly negative experience before and during our stay. Vacasa was barely responsive, usually taking 3 to 4 messages before hearing back, which was always hours later. I will hesitate to book any property managed by Vacasa in the future.

A relaxing and enjoyable weekend

The duplex is well appointed and was very clean and well prepared for our arrival. It was very relaxing to sit outside by the water’s edge and enjoy an early morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

Super cute getaway

This place was really cute right on the water and its own boat dock and literally just A few feet from the water. We sat out right on the water every evening and every morning. Just the right place to get away from the hustle muscle and enjoy a great weekend!

Spacious and Clean

Very nice property, very clean, very comfortable. It’s a duplex with a lot of space. Separate sitting outside, with plenty of seating, very relaxing! So easy to drop in kayaks and stroll the very quiet water and neighborhood. City is super cute, everyone seems to be so friendly. There was an Airbnb across the water that were partying very loudly, (night) although hubby and I had to venture back inside because we couldn’t hear ourselves talk, we discovered the house is sound proof. We didn’t hear them at all inside!! Nice! Couple of things; super minor for the owners: one of the bedroom fans makes a loud clicking noise, AC shuts off and it got a little toasty (we just got up in the middle of the night and clicked back on, easy), your poor paddle board was attacked and house about a million ants, Yikes! These were super minor but probably easy fixes. I’d stay here each and every time I head to the lake! Thank you.

Peaceful but it’s all in the details

For the most part this was a cute and quiet property but it’s the little details that were missing that bothered us. Maybe we’re just too picky but it’s important to give feedback so you know. The biggest issue was left over chocolate bar and popcorn on the floor next to the nightstands. Our dog could have gotten into it. Sugar ants around the sink. But the rest of the house was super clean. Missing can opener and barbecue utensils including the grill brush to clean it. Igniter not working on grill and no lighter to turn it on. Had to go get one. Shower nozzle sprays to the wall of shower and not on your lower body and no way to adjust the shower head. Easy fix would be to get a rain shower head that goes down. (Shower in laundry room). A few dead lightbulbs. Thermostat wouldn’t stay on temperature and would revert to 76. Had to keep adjusting every few hours. Describe boat lift to only fit small fishing or jet boats. Our wake surf boat didn’t fit but the calm water and dock was good for our boat. Good parts were bed comfort, back patio area and chairs, kitchen, main shower bathroom, quiet and peaceful.
