Got lucky on this trip to southern Japan! Caught a glimpse of Mount Fuji on the plane and just now the active Sakurajima volcano enroute on the train from Kagoshima to Miyajima, the last prefecture of Japan which I have yet visited. Tonight completes my tour of Japan's 47 prefectures! Yippee! What a view eh?! Sometimes life is simply full of pleasant surprises when u don't plan too much for it! Mine has been more than I could ever have imagined in my youth! #ontheroad
