“Had a lovely time at Cross cottage. It was a lovely quiet location but only 5 min drive to Kirkby Lonsdale for restaurants pubs and shops. Great for all the Yorkshire dales hills and villages. Garden to the cottage was well maintained and relaxing. Good Wi-Fi and free sat too. Shower was super powerful . Always a bonus. Only improvement would be curtains over French doors now the darker nights are coming back for added privacy and cosy feel. Would definitely book again n this cottage and this……

“On arrival we was greeted with a strong smell of damp. There was a lot of spiders and dead and live wood lice all around the house. The live were taken outside and the dead were sucked up the very doggy smelling vacuum cleaner.
The sofa smelt of dogs and the sink had stuck on food remnants and dead wood lice.
The only good points were: the bed was comfy and the nice touch of a bottle of Prosecco.
Would we recommend and stay again? Unfortunately no.”

It wasn’t a major issue, but it did take away from the scenery a little, especially when relaxing in the hot tubs.
It would also be great if guests could use the EV charger at the property. As it’s quite a remote location, the nearby public……
