Excellent little cottage for two.

Excellent little cottage for two. Well appointed, clean, warm, quiet and centrally located. Parking a bit tight as streets are narrow but that adds to the quaintness of the town.Overall a lovely week complimented by such great accommodation. We loved it and would highly recommend

Comfortable, cosy, and well equipped.Some of the lightbulbs need replacement, including one over the cooker.The 'local information' incorrectly states that the recycling area is in the Whitefriars car park, whereas it is located in the Sowarth Field industrial area. It is also worth noting that although there are cash machines in the supermarkets, there are now no bank branches open in Sttle.

Anniversary days away

Small but perfectly formed, just a beautiful cosy little cottage in a gorgeous village, everything you need to enjoy your stay, the kitchen was well provided with utensils, cooker, microwave washer etc, the lounge was cosy with tv & wifi, door to small yard, in summer will be lovely to sit out! Parking a bit tight (our car quite big)but we knew this before we went, so made use of village carpark 2mins walk away,after dropping cases off! Will definitely go again! Loved it!

Cosy & Clean Cottage

This is a gem of a cottage, ideally located to the centre of Settle. It was clean and well maintained. There was a plentiful supply of hand soap, toilet rolls, kitchen roll, washing up liquid and foil. The kitchen was well equipped although it could do with a serrated bread knife. It was nice and warm and there was plenty of hot water. The only downside was the parking, we couldn't use the space as we have quite a large car as did the people in the neighbouring cottage. We parked in the main car park which was a 2 minute walk away and only cost £15 for a week. Would definitely recommend this property for couples wanting to explore the area.

Lovely cottage, in a quaint, historic village.

Lovely cottage, in a quaint, historic village. The street is very narrow, and although parking was very welcome, the space and roads are very tight. The cottage itself is quirky, with well thought out decor and equipment.Both bathrooms were great. I would suggest stairs and low ceilings not ideal if there are mobility issues as they are very steep. Unfortunately our weather was not great, but we still found plenty to do in the local area. Lots of great eating places too.

Settle is such a beautiful little village and April Cottage is the perfect place to stay.

Settle is such a beautiful little village and April Cottage is the perfect place to stay. I loved how spotlessly clean it was, access to a full kitchen with washer/dryer, the tasteful way it was decorated and the welcome tea tray with biscuits and wine. The cottage is an easy walk to everything and we loved being able to park the car outside the door and leave it for the entire stay. Thank you for providing all those little extras that make staying so easy and relaxing.

great holiday cottage, one of the best we have stayed in.

great holiday cottage, one of the best we have stayed in. ideal for the town and walking around the local area. there is a pub garden directly backing on the property and a certain amount of noise in the evening if people are sitting outside. it was not a problem for us but worth bearing in mind if you would be expecting to go to sleep before closing time. other than that its very quiet through the night, no traffic noise etc.

Another wonderful stay at April Cottage.

Another wonderful stay at April Cottage. We have fallen in love with this accommodation as it delivers such comfort and relaxation. There is everything you could want in an excellent location. A great night's sleep is guaranteed in the super king bed with the comfiest of mattresses and highest quality bedding. The lounge area is such a lovely place to relax with a glass of wine or similar. Great pubs/ cafes / restaurants to walk to in Settle and plenty to visit in the surrounding area. This is our third visit and parking was not a problem for us previously but that said the designated parking space to the left of the cottage is a definite bonus. The construction on the cottage next door is complete which has allowed for the space to come available. Looking forward to coming back in August.

Such a beautiful warm and cosy cottage, excellent for a romantic break. Decor and finish is exceptional. Very “at home” feeling with lots of nice pubs and restaurants nearby. In fact we parked up on Thursday and didn’t move the car till Monday as the walks locally and around the surrounding areas were second to none. Would highly recommend and will visit again.
