“Brilliant, What a lovely welcome, a roaring log fire and instant access to our room without any fuss. The hosts were very friendly and attentative throughout our stay. A lovely comfortable room with all the amenities. Breakfast was amazing. contintental yes, but we were offered and given scrambled eggs on toast cooked to perfection. The only downside was the stairs, being a very old building the stairs were very steep and not for the elderly or infirm. The hotel was beautifully decorative and……

“We had a wonderful Easter Weekend in the log cabin. Location is great - 20/25 mins from Carlisle, lots of lovely walks around. So peaceful, the log cabin itself is fab and has everything you need.
