"I enjoyed some things about this hotel, but others not so much. Although the hotel is new featuring modern decor, the hotel rooms are tiny - the smallest hotel room I’ve stayed in. The bathroom is worse - there is no way an adult or an older child could have a bath with their legs stretched out (if you wanted to use the bath that is). One thing I did love was the tablet control panel by the bed - I could change the temp, turn on/off lights without getting up. The window is floor to ceiling which was nice, although our view was of the train station! I wasn’t able to change the tv language to English and I couldn’t connect to chromecast. So that wasn’t great as we stayed in at night. Check in was self-service kiosks (not a great experience and not at all welcoming) with members of staff standing by to help. I think it works for repeat visitors but not people new to the area where the experience could have been more welcoming and more informative e.g., some tips on where to go. Although the hotel is within walking distance from the train station and department stores, I didn’t feel it was a child friendly hotel. Also, the beds are rock hard and the pillows are flat so that wasn’t good for me although I appreciate others may prefer that. The onsite vending machines didn’t have a wide selection and I didn’t see any food benefit machines that other hotels have. No laundry facilities on the hotel room floors. And finally the toilet paper is 1-ply. Overall, it was an ok stay. "
