Great house, 2 minute walk to the beach!

We thoroughly enjoyed this place! Lots of room to spread out or be together as a large family. Pool and hot tub were great for the whole family!

Little Improvements would make a big difference

Location great, pool / hot tub in good condition/ drop off of beach gear/ bikes wonderful House needs a good clean and some maintenance. The dishwasher did not work well. We cleaned out the trap, (full of gunk and glass), and it worked better but spray wand looks damaged. The front decks were wonderful except for the wasp nests. Called Seaside after first sting but they were not sure when someone could come out, when we didn't get a call within the hour we bought 3 cans wasp spray, sprayed all porches, knocked down the nest (which was located on the outside of porch under the railing, so you could not see it while on the porch), used other two bottles throughout the week as got another sting and were concerned about 2 little children with us. The carport and pool area near hot tub were really sandy, dirty, w/ green slime and standing water along the drains near hot tub. Spent 2 hours before the kids came sweeping and spraying with cleaner those areas. A few minutes with a blower to remove sand and standing water and assuring those drains work would improve that. Noticed water from side spigot on top porch drains into hot tub area and creates the slimy standing water. The base boards by the doors were worn down, possibly by dogs left in house? (our dogs always went with us), but frayed as people walked through the doors, so we were always picking up wood and foam bits. The top storm door looks like it may break anytime. Hope this helpful for Pipers P!
