Overall, we loved the home, and this was our second season in a row. The home provided for most of our needs with a reasonable and competitive price. On the downside, our list of areas that needed attention, were not addressed nor attended to. The home did receive a fresh coat of outside paint which looked good, but the dollars invested should have been made to the dangerous nails and splintering deck in the pool area. The home was looking tired in many areas. The pool deck, toilets loose with sewar odors and a grill that did not work. All of these items were pointed out last year and despite a request for the grill and the toilets to be repaired during our stay this year, there was NO response. In addition, one of the burners on the stove was not working. In spite of the problems, we loved the location and decided to rent next year. We were very surprised at the large increase of 27% in the rental fee and being charged for linens instead of them being included in the house fee the past two seasons. In addition, the processing fee increase by 35%. Not a good feeling with the service received. Our phone calls and emails to the realtor took a long time to be returned and addressed, which did not encourage us to believe that the house would be any better next year. To complete our frustration and disappointment, we should have also received a %5 discount for our second time and did not receive that value this year until it was pointed out. Beach Realty was diligent in pestering for us to sign for next year but took a long time to return calls to address our issues. In short, not a very good experience and the value, condition and service simply does not support the increases.
