“room ia clean and modern. Staff is excelent. Breakfast continental is disapointing: fruit was a single tangerine. noise from road only outside. in our room we have a wall glass opening to a internal patio, with 5 or 6 air conditioning. Noise did not disturb. However there is no blind or curtain in this very large window: light will invade the room at sunrise. ”

“My husband and I stayed five nights end of April 2026 at Coopmanhuijs. From check in to check out, the staff made our visit perfect. We stayed in room #11. The room was super clean, the bathroom very spacious, and the little balcony to relax in the evening was perfect. The included breakfast was very delicious with fruits, pastries, and lots of dishes made to order. We also had dinner there three nights during our stay as those dishes were equally delicious. “Der Pool war leider nicht nutzbar da recht klein, konstant ein Staubsauger eingelassen war und er nicht ganz sauber - das lag vermutlich eher an Mangel an Kenntnis wie man einen Pool korrekt reinigt. Das Personal war sehr bemüht und aufmerksam ”

“Unbelievable! And something quite special and different. Mindblowing views from each room and a private terrace to boot! We walked out from the lodge to 3 wineries. Lunch, dinner, wine tasting. (We didn’t have a car but uber was totally fine to get around) we went to stellenbosch and Franschhoek to do the wine tram. Could have easily stayed longer: Mountain View’s, sunsets, stargazing all part of the package. Incredible. Thank you Banhoek for a wonderful time x”

“Book this! You will not regret it. We just returned from a beautiful stay at Clouds and we couldn’t be happier. It was by far the best choice - stunning location, rooms, pool, food(!) and most importantly the staff. We will 100% be returning. We have travelled to a lot of 5* properties around worlds and this was truly special. A good point to note is that it’s right next door to the Delaire Graff Estate which is worth a visit for wine tasting, or lunch/dinner (they offer a free shuttle……

“Fantastic hotel in a great location in Stellenbosch within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Staff were a pleasure and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. A real shame that there was major building work going on at the property next to this one as it did mean we couldn't really enjoy our balcony or the pool area as it was so noisy - it would have been good to have been advised of this in advance of the stay. Breakfast was delicious and overall we would recommend - if we were……
