Amazing view, stay and hosts
Amazing place to stay with amazing hosts. Close enough to walk to the CBD if you are prepared and brave enough to conquer/tackle the uphill on the way back. For me it was perfect preparation to running the Knysna Forest Marathon. The room has everything one requires and more: WiFi, hairdryer, fridge, kettle, heater, shower and small touches such as OBS and snacks on arrival as well as a torch in case of a power failure or emergency. The fact that DSTV was not available in the room itself, but in the the common lounge, could be a negative, but would not prevent me from going there again. The blankets provided is a nice touch, but perhaps a fire in the fire place could add even some more warmth and cosiness. The hosts Kevin and Betsie go out of their way to help. On arrival the host Kevin, in particular was very helpful and patient with the born before technology person to install a code for the safe and provided a map of Knysna as well as suggestions for eat out. Breakfast was adequate and was even provided very early on Saturday morning prior to my departure to the start of the Knysna Marathon and upon my arrival back in my room, yoghurt, muesli, fruit salad and a banana and orange was left in the kitchen, ready for my early departure (06:00) on Sunday morning.
