Great! Large size room,clean,well-facilities.good sea view restaurant with cheap delicious food ,don't miss the sandwich clubs and iced fresh coconut .When you lay down enjoying your dinner ,Chang beer must be key choice ~The beach ,sand and sea are very clean & beautiful,the sand is soft and delicate;the sea also is very quiet ~You can do getting suntan, swimming,snorkeling,fishing,speed yacht,playing volleyball,etc. Amazing place and hotel,love! Come again ~btw,finally the hotel didn't charge us extra fee for bed,because we had paid all on hotels.com,that's not bad;)

we liked the location of the place: you are only a 5 Min walk from the Lamai night market and lots of restaurants. we loved the beach access and they have their own loungers: every time we came, we could find a nice spot in the shade. They have a very nice pool, very clean. The breakfast was great and every day some different foods. the Staff was very friendly and helpful - that was really outstanding. We had a room with a sea view - so it was on the top floor but nice in the shade starting at noon, so perfect to enjoy the balcony. They also rent scooters. So what was not so our favorite: we are non-smokers, and as the room is a non-smoking - if you have neighbours they smoke on their balcony and you smell it, nearly every day when we were relaxing at the beach someone started smoking near us and we got the smoke up - which is very annoying (especially since most of them through their cigarette buts in the sand - very inconsiderate). the beach itself has nice soft white sand, but right near us where two jet ski rentals - so when we went in for a swim: you were literally swimming between the jet skis - which takes a bit away from the "beautiful island beach feeling". the town itself is very smelly, if you walk you always smell the sewer, there is a lot of garbage, the river is very dirty and smelly - and even on the nightmarket - you get smoked on everywhere. We went to check out some more remote beaches and have to say even some of them had bottles and garbage.

Staff were nice and helpful, the room was old, mouldy and very dirty - we had to clean ourselves on the first day wasn't gonna touch anything. We had to wipe surfaces, and disinfect the bathroom, lot's of hair on the floor. We stayed 4 nights. The room was spacius but uncomfortable, the bed was ok. Luckily the beach was nice, with sunbeds, water was great for swim in the waves, beach restaurant was pleasant enough.

Bra frukost, mycket att välja på. Personalen trevlig och bra service. Läget är superbra, nära till Night market med supergod mat för bara några 10 kronor. Området är lugnt. Om jag ska ge hotellet något att förbättra så är det madrasserna på solsängarna som borde bytts ut för länge sedan.

Direct beach access and close to high street

Approx 30mins taxi drive from the airport, this hotel and bungalow complex is ideally located for the beach and town life without spending a fortune. I stayed in a bungalow, and yes it’s a bit tired and dated but was really clean. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was fresh and good, and excellent value for money - especially the Thai food. I didn’t try any of the western food as I was in Thailand! Having the luxury of the beach and a swimming pool was wonderful, and being such a short walk to the main road for shops, bars and restaurants too was good. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a good and friendly budget hotel.

We enjoyed our 2 week stay but were a little dissapointed that the last 4 days of our stay we had jackhammer in room next door! We were not advised or offered to move, so much for a quiet holiday! The rooms are a little tired, bathroom had leaking tap which made floor extremly dangerous. Also cleaners were a bit slack in replacing towels. If u dont leave them on floor, then they dont get replaced. No notice telling you. Im happy to re-use towels but after 3 days i would expect them to be replaced. We always hang our towels. Speaking to other guests, their towels were replaced without question daily?? Towels both room and beach are very worn and torn. We loved the pool, garden and access to the beach with plenty of beds/chairs. Easy to access restaurants, bars and shopping. Staff were very friendly. Would i stay again..yes! We love Lamai Beach and overall Coconut Beach Resort is a good budget place to stay.

Nice resort on beachfront. We had a superior Seaview room which was very comfortable. Glad we didn’t take a bungalow as we were told they were noisy with lots of mosquitos. Lovely pool with lots of sun lounges and more sun lounges on the beach. Close to everything including shops restaurants and food markets. Enjoyed staying here and extended our stay for another 5 nights.

Overall clean and fairly well maintained resort. Staff was welcoming and accommodating. The only negative I would say is the price of food and cocktails. You are within walking distance of countless restaurants and bars that have much more competitive prices.
