At Villa Emerald you have your own Swimming pool, separate jetted Plunge Pool, beautiful tropical Living and Dining area, Reading area and restful Sala alcove with oriental mattresses, spacious open plan, brand-new, fitted Kitchen and Dining area and delightful Bedroom with balcony. There is also a tropical Yoga/meditation/massage area with attached shower room.

This stunning Villa is located on hillside land with fantastic ocean views of the Gulf of Thailand, and the surrounding islands. It is ideally suited for couples. Villa Emerald, situated on the 22 acre area of ocean view hillside land known as Sitara Retreat, is a private residency, that provides 24 hour security.
The front entrance to the villa is through Chinese doors to a spacious, open plan, fully fitted Kitchen and Dining area set amidst striking granite boulders and stunning ocean views.
Across a small bridge is the spacious Bedroom en-suite with bath and walk in shower. The Bedroom has a balcony, which offers panoramic ocean views. All our villas have spectacular ocean views that are outstanding. The bedroom at Villa Emerald provides the most sumptuous views of all.
Steps lead down to a tropical style Living room, with SMART flat screen tv with Netflix and Youtube. Here is also is a Dining area with table and chairs. Leading from the living area is a separate Reading room with bookcase with a selection of books and an attractive trellis open air Sala retreat with oriental mattresses and Lotus pond with colourful fish and turtles.
From the Living area is the salt water swimming pool, separate jetted plunge pool, decking with sun beds and gas barbecue with magnificent ocean views. Outside rain shower to the pool.
From the Living area, there are steps down to the lovely, tropical style Yoga/mediation/massage area with an attached shower room. This has been beautifully created in a peaceful setting, with surrounding lush greenery and fabulous views. Yoga mats provided.
Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service:
All towels and linen provided. The villa is cleaned after every 3 nights, with change of clean bed linen and towels also after every 3 nights. Small bottle of shower gel and shampoo provided for the first night.
Small utility area provided with washing machine, clothes dryer, iron, ironing board and guest wc.
Free fibre optic wifi at the villa.
Complimentary pick-up from the airport, ferry terminal or your accommodation on the island to Villa Emerald, and return journey (one in each direction).
Please note that no additional guests other than those who have booked to stay at the villa are permitted to stay overnight.
All our cars are insured, with the guest being responsible, and limited, for the first 20,000 Baht of any damage. There is no insurance on mopeds where the guest pays for any damage incurred.
It is the guests' responsibility to ensure that they also have their own comprehensive Travel & Health Insurance, and appropriate driving documentation for Thailand.
All our vehicles will have a full tank of petrol for you. Please ensure that you return the vehicle at the end of your stay with a full tank.
No ‘off-roading’ or driving in harsh terrain. The complimentary car is not to be driven off the island.

Neighbourhood description:
Villa Emerald is for couples that want a private and beautiful setting with the most amazing ocean views that look over to the islands and also the mainland over 20 kilometres away.
Within 5 drive from the Villa there is the charming area of Laem Sett. Within this area there is local Laem Sett beach, which is quiet and secluded. Here one can enjoy and admire a beautiful sunset, and sometimes see the local fishermen with their long tailed boats come into shore. Located on the beach is the popular Thai style Cool Bar when you can enjoy good food and a drink whilst soaking up the tranquil atmosphere.
Also close by is ShaSa Resort, Centara Villas Resort and Samui Orchid which opens its doors to non residents and has many facilities to enjoy, including smart restaurants and bars.
There are many fine restaurants serving delicious Thai and Western food, coffee shops, mini-marts for your daily needs, well reputed massage shops, taxi services etc within 5-10 min drive of the villa.
Amphoe Ko Samui Stadium, only a 6 min drive away, is home to many popular sports events, where visitors can come to watch the activities. It is located in an attractive area, surrounded by a lake/reservoir where there is a football field, basketball etc and you can also walk around or jog with lots of shade. Also outdoor fitness park with brightly coloured exercise equipment which is free to use.
Less than 10 mins away by car you have the fishing village of Baan Hua Thanon where fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are sold daily at the local market and also the home of several small local shops, coffee shops, doctors surgery, 24 hour Seven-Eleven grocery shop with ATM, together with a Chinese Temple.
Lamai is a beach side tourist town a 10 min drive from the Villa. There are individual shops offering locally made souvenirs and clothes. When the sun goes down the streets come alive with lights from the night market and variety of restaurants serving excellent Thai and western dishes in the town and on the beach. Thai boxing is also popular and Lamai has its own professional and amateur boxing ring.
Nearby to the villa many of the island's main attractions are less than 10 mins drive away, which include Namsuang Waterfalls, Crocodile Farm, Elephant trekking, The Grandmother Grandfather Rocks, water sports, excellent Thai cookery classes, a snake farm and many temples, amongst others.
Here there still has the feel on Koh Samui of over 20 years ago, unlike the north of the island. We are frequently told by guests they find the Thai people in this southern part of the island extremely hospitable, and welcoming. In the north where it is far more crowded and touristy on the island there is not always the opportunity to discover the true warmth and charm of the local people.
Remember nowhere on the island is more than 50 minutes away. The southern part of the island, where the villa is located, remains pretty much unspoiled, especially compared to the north. It still has that rustic charm appeal that the whole of Samui boasted years ago. The beaches on the south remain pretty much undeveloped, due mainly to the shallow coastline.
