The view from the balcony is terrific and the location is perfect for getting around between Kaiserslautern and Zweibrucken. "We had the most amazing stay here! The view was beautiful, the beds were so comfortable, and the house was equipped with everything we could ever need. Peter was a gracious host, he surprised us with welcome treats and very responsive with any questions we had. There were quite a few stairs to get the home, but don’t let it deter you. We plan to return to the area again and would love to stay here again! "

"The place is clean and new but since it’s summer, fan is a must and that’s what we didn’t have. The location looks a little bit unsafe and so we took out all our valuable stuff from the car. But overall, for the price that we paid it was worth it. "

"A clean and roomy house, ideally set for what we needed. Nice walks in the area and shops are 5 minutes on foot. Stephen is a pleasant man, not intrusive or over bearing. He just made himself known to us. I will look to book again in the future."

"Arrived to find the street parking was actually 3 spaces, half a block away that were already occupied by other cars. We had to park on the sidewalk temporarily until a spot opened up to move to. 39 steps up to a third floor apartment, (not mentioned in the listing). The apartment was clean but dated. After our host's representative left, we discovered that there were no bath towels to be found. We contacted the host and he told us where to look for back-up towels. There were none in the storage...

"The hotel was clean and stylish, the breakfast was great and it had plenty of parking with a charge. Only down point was our room location. We were right over delivery acces (where they delivered stuff with a big truck) and next to the cleaners room. It was very loud after 7.30 am,"

Let means that there’s traffic and that people tend to sometimes forget that they can be overheard later at night. But otherwise, a good stay as usual. "

"A wonderful hotel with a view that could not be matched in the area. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was a godsend as it was quite warm outside. The view from the terrace should not be missed. The property is a stone’s throw from old castle ruins (free) and an underground sandstone quarry (there is an admission fee), as well as a short walk from the old town. Full disclosure: the hotel is on the top of a hill. While the walk into town was all downhill and relatively easy, the walk back up to the hotel could be viewed as somewhat strenuous."
